I was looking for an upgrade on my sound bar but didn't want to break the bank. After reading numerous reviews I decided to buy the Vizio sound bar. One of the things that first caught my attention was that they supplied you with all the additional wiring needed for hook up. Set up was a short time. Once turned on, I knew right away I made a great purchased. The sound surpassed my old Samsung soundbar by far.
For those interested in true surround sound, they must changed the settings on their Set-top. This is how you get the Dolby and DTS light to go on.
For $200 you can't go wrong. Take note that the Bass is really powerful and you may need to adjust accordingly. The sound bar sits a little high and can block your TV's eye. That just means you have to aim from a little higher point to turn on the TV. Beside that, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a low price product that gives you mid to high level performance.

This microwave is a very reliable. I work in facilities and their are some products I would always stand by and this is one of them. This microwave was able to handle the usage of over 100 employees. Did so well that I purchased 2 more for 2 other offices.

Sound level on dvd home theatre player jumps from level 12 t0 25+

Sound level will automatically jump every 10 to 15 minutes while watching a movie
There is a setting on the Vizio sound bar thats call smart volume. This prevents the volume to dramatically change from high to low... keeps it consistent. I hope this helps.

Can this be used on anybrand tv or just vizsio ?

you can use it on any TV that has HDMI. I current have an old 48' Samsung.

I do not have an optical port on my tv. Without an HDMI port on the soundbar, how do I hook it up? I do not want to use RCA cables.

Digital Coax cable is connected from the sound bar to your Set top. HDMI is only for picture. Optical cable goes from your gaming system to your sound bar. Connect another HDMI from gaming system to your TV. This sill give you the best sound from your gaming system and TV.
