I initially "tried out" two Play3 units to see how they were (figuring I'd return them if not impressed). I was impressed. A little pricey but the sound quality was impressive. Bass response exceeded my expeditions and using various streaming services worked great for me.
Then, I realized I had a pair of old but really good speakers downstairs not being used. So again tried out the Connect Amp. Works seamlessly with great sound So now I moved the Play3s into the bedroom. I love the whole Sonos environment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Sound quality, ease of setup, variety of sources
What's not so great: A little pricey
Bought two of the Play 3 units (with the bridge) and set them up in my living room. Was doubtful that the sound quality and bass response would satisfy me but was pleasantly surprised.
Now thinking about adding more units around the house. Nice being able to turn it on and control it from my phone or ipad
I would recommend this to a friend!

How many pair of wired speakers ( independent of each other) can you connect?

If I have 4 different rooms wired with ceiling speakers, will this product enable me to connect them all and play different music in each room?
Check the Sonos website but I believe they recommend the Connect Amp for up to 2 pair of speakers (4 ohm) max.
