If you are patient and persistent, and you want to archive your old pictures, slides, and negatives, this is the tool you want. It takes high-quality scans and comes with great software. Your scan will have the color depth and clarity of the original image, and the software can restore old, faded, scratched pictures to life. For sure it isn't fast, but the results are worth it.

I'm happy I selected this -- it does everything I need and it was a direct replacement for my old microwave. The controls are really straight-forward and heats food quickly. Watch your beverages while you get used to this machine's power!

This will be your favorite phone ever. It's fast, has a great amount of storage, unlimited full-size photos! and takes great pictures in all light levels, clean Android interface, great sound, all you could want. However, if you already have a pixel, you already have all this. Upgrading to a pixel 2, this is what I learned after using the phone for a couple of weeks. You get a squeeze launcher for assistant, you lose your headphone jack, and you get an additional front speaker. I'm not an enthusiast, but the video quality doesn't seem significantly different to me.
If you don't have a pixel phone, get this one. It's awesome. If you already have a pixel, keep it for a while, it's still awesome.

first off -- it doesn't have a heater in it to dry the dishes, so you need to open it when it's done to let the moisture escape or prepare to wipe down your dishes when you put them away. Other than that, it does a really good job of washing dishes. You don't really have to rinse your dishes first, it cleans really well. It is also pretty quiet. I like having the handle in front for hanging towels.

I'm going to guess most laptops have Bluetooth these days. All of mine do. And laptops are getting fewer USB ports. Bluetooth is the way to go, and this is a comfortable, full-sized mouse with all the features you want. It was really easy to pair with my laptop and I use it all the time wherever I'm using my laptop. It tracks off of a table, chair arm, or even my leg when I need it to.

This was really easy to set up, once I installed the app on my phone. I have a Google Home, and it was recognized right away. It was a little wonky until the firmware update, but once the firmware was updated, it's been working reliably. It's very convenient to tell Google to turn the light on and off. Much easier than installing a switch!

Almost every screen has hdmi inputs these days, and this lets you use almost anything as a monitor. I've used it to stream video, and it came in real handy when my friends came over and we ordered takeout; I could display the restaurant's menu on my TV instead of everybody crowding around my laptop. It's portable and self-contained, so I take it wherever I go with my laptop.

I got this with the hopes that it would replace several devices I have at home. I've used it for a few months and have had some time to transition tasks to it, and I'm not disappointed.
It replaced my all-in-one office jet, a laserjet, and a sheet-feed scanner.
It was easy to connect to my network and I could print to it right away. The printing is a little noisy but quick. There's a quiet mode but the printer is in my home office so the noise is okay.
It's not awesome for color prints, but in photo print with photo paper it does okay.
Scanning works. I did have to do quite a bit of configuration to get it to do what my old scanner did because I had several settings programmed into it, but it works now. I love the fact that it scans both sides in one pass, but it's significantly slower than my dedicated scanner.
Ink levels have been good so far, so I'm interested in seeing how long I can go before having to buy ink.
The extra large footprint is manageable. The huge advantage is that you can scan music books because it can accommodate the page size. It's fun to be able to print 11x17, I never thought I'd really need to do that.

Is there a tray size to be able to scan really old black & white negatives for 600, 616 and 620 film that are 2" x 2.25" ? And software that makes them a "positive" image?

Yes, for sure. It comes with feeder frames and your negative will fit into it. Only caveat -- you'll have to use manual settings when scanning it, don't use the default thumbnails. The software does convert negatives to "prints."

Does this unit have to be mounted over stove or can it be mounted over a counter top?
it doesn't really have to be mounted over a stove. The exhaust fan even has a recirculating option so it doesn't need to vent outside either, it'll just stick out a little from your cabinets and vent out the top edge. You just need some good firm wall to mount it on, and you have to be able to screw it to the bottom of the cabinet.
