It's exactly what you'd expect in this price range. Keyboard and mouse work great and are super responsive, while only using a single usb port. Battery life is REALLY long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this an adapter able to be used so I can use my kinect

No. This adapter is for connecting your wireless controllers to the PC. Unfortunately the Kinect has been discontinued and so the Adapter is no longer available on Best Buy.

Will this keyboard work with a Apple computer?

Yes it will. I switch the usb dongle back and forth between my PC and Macbook Pro and never have any problems. The mouse isn't as good as Apple's Magic Mouse 1 (the 2 is horrible) so I'd stick with that mouse over this for Apple products.
