The RF modulator is great since it allows me to feed my Tivo video and sound signals from the Tivo to another TV through the coaxial cable.

What's great about it: Fast performance
What's not so great: Prices is still on the high side
Th price of solid state drives SSD drives has slowly been going down. These drives use vet little energy, do not produce heat, and are not prone to the types of mechanical failures of regular hard drives. They speed up the performance of the computer for start-up, access and writing files.

For Laptops?

Do I have to buy something special to use it with my Desktop? I would buy the desktop version, but only Samsung direct has it, and its $50 more.

I have a iBuyPower computer, currently running a 128GB SSD. Wondering if the "for laptops" means anything.
The SSD drive does not need anything else to be used in a desktop computer other than a tray to hold it in the bay where your regular hard drive fits. I was able to use an adapter I had for this purpose. I saw on a youtube video that some just use Velcro to hold it in place.
