I recently purchased a new DSLR camera with a zoom lens, and the case that came with the camera was bulky and too big for everyday use. I researched different camera holster cases that can accommodate the kit zoom lens, and found this Case Logic Kontrast case. It is just the right size for everyday use, and does not get in the way when taking photos or video.
The Case Logic case is better than many others, because it has a suspension device, so the lens does not get jarred if the case is bumped. Case Logic also designed a hard, waterproof bottom so the case stands up. It has plenty of pockets to store an additional flash, extra batteries, the lens cap, an extra strap, and memory cards. And it is attractive, black nylon with lime green accent piping.
I did not pay list price, as Best Buy matched a competitor's price for this case.

I read reviews of camera filters online and was warned against buying a cheap filter, so went with a Hoya filter. Hoya is well-known for making sturdy and effective mid-priced camera filters, and this UV filter is no exception. I purchased it to protect the lens on my new Canon camera, and plan to leave it in place until I need a different filter, say, a polarizing filter, for artistic purposes.

I tried this dual-port lightning charger/headphone dongle on both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s. It was a bit loose in the iPhone lightning socket the first time and fit snugly in the iPad lightning socket. Handy for charging and using lightning headphones at the same time. We ran our dehumidifier for 8-12 hours per day, full force, to reduce the humidity in our house in Houston in the summer. It works! Pretty easy to operate, and you can set the desired humidity and run the unit in automatic mode once you do the initial "dry-out" of your home.
The dehumidifier has an attractive design and wheels for mobility. The only drawback is its weight, if you have a two-story home and must carry the unit upstairs and downstairs to use in different areas.

It took only a few minutes to start using my Bose Quiet Comfort 35 wireless headphones. Just flip the switch, pair with your Bluetooth phone (or other device), and follow the prompts on your phone to download the free Bose app.
The packaging is first class, and Bose provides a quality carrying case for the headphones. In addition to the headphones. the case holds a two-prong headphone jack for use on airplanes, a standard audio cable for non-Bluetooth use, and a short USB charging cable. Plug the mini USB end into the headphones and the standard USB end into your laptop, a USB car charger, or wall charger.
My headphones were near fully-charged out of the box. Color-coded lights tell you when the battery is low and when the Bluetooth is connected to your device. You can pair the headphones with two devices at a time... convenient if you want to use with your MacBook for Web conferences and with your smartphone for business calls.
I tried the headphones for music, game apps, and for a phone call--the microphone is built into the right earpiece, not intrusive like some headphone/mic combinations. The only issue was, the QC35 headphones fit over the ear and shield so much of the outside sound, that I could hear the person on the other end of the call perfectly, but could not hear myself! Used while playing games on my iPhone, the sound was consistently good, not jittery, like with other wireless headphones I have tried.
This is not a lightweight product, so I would not recommend for running or vigorous activities. If you want clarity and high fidelity, these headphones are for you.
First impression: a good product. I look forward to using the QC 35 headphones more, especially for air travel.

What's great about it: Easy setup, four ethernet ports, 2 USB ports
What's not so great: big footprint
The Linksys Max-Stream AC1900 MU-MIMO Gigabit Router is easy to set up. Just open the box, attach the three antennas, plug in the power supply, and attach to your cable modem with the supplied Ethernet cable. I had the router up and running in about 5 minutes. The Quick Start Guide does not mention this, but it is a good idea to position the middle antenna at 90 degrees (straight up) and the two other antennas outward at 45 degrees.
Managing the router is easy, with the Linksys online management site. You can change security, change the router name or password in seconds.
This is a dual-band router. When you set it up, you see a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz network. The manufacturer says that the 2.4 GHz network is fine for email and web browsing, and has a broader range of coverage; the 5 GHz network works better for gaming and streaming, and has a narrower range of coverage.
I would like the ability to mount this router near the ceiling, like I see in many business settings. It would eliminate some of the desk clutter. If the manufacturer provided such a bracket or mounting device, it would require a longer Ethernet cable to connect to the cable modem.

What's great about it: Navigates well on rough surfaces, good for hard floors
What's not so great: Leaves clumps of pet hair when moving from hard surface to rugs.
The vacuum shipped in a suitcase-style box with a plastic handle. Taking the Bissell robot vacuum out of the box was a pleasure, no muss, no fuss. What's in the box: robot vacuum cleaner, Lithium Ion battery, home station, charger, invisible wall (batteries not included).
Used the quick start guide to insert the battery into the vacuum and get it charged. Easy enough to do, but I broke two nails snapping the lid onto the underside of the vacuum, It took a few hours for the initial charge, then I was ready to go.
I used the vacuum in "manual" mode and let it start in the kitchen, which needed vacuuming the most. The robot cleaned for about 80-90 minutes until the battery was low. It did not return to its home base , but when I placed it near its base it conveniently backed up and docked for charging. I used it later for a second round of cleaning.
Speed: the robot is slow, so if you want to clean your floor quickly, then do it the old way with a regular vacuum. It took about 3 hours to clean about 2000 square feet of hard flooring.
Navigation: The Bissell navigated well from hard ceramic floors, over the wooden transitions to the hardwood floor, and onto area rugs and door mats without a problem. It negotiated well on a warped wooden floor as well. It uses a bumper to find obstacles, and then navigates around them. Its travel pattern seems random.
Effectiveness: It vacuums pet hair and dirt, using its "whisker" brushes to get right up to the walls and under kitchen cabinets. I found clumps of pet hair that the robot had collected, but then left on the edges of area rugs and kitchen mats. It did not vacuum up everything on the kitchen floor, and I noticed a few small leaves and some grit remaining.
Ease of use: the robot was easy to set up for the first cleaning. Use the product guide to learn how to program it. Make sure to watch the robot the first time you run it in any room, especially around power cords that may be plugged into floor outlets, or around dangling drapery cords that could get wrapped around the vacuum.
Bottom line: good for hands-off cleaning, but still a novelty. I have not yet tried it on wall-to-wall carpeting. Does not clean stairs.

An updated version of a similar three- handset wireless phone we purchased years ago. This model has Bluetooth connectivity to a headset or you can receive cell phone calls on the phone..Also has an answering machine built into Tito the base. When a call comes in, the phone announces the caller or phone number. Nice large display and clock.
This DECT 6.0 phone sounds clearer than my older non-DECT model. It works well with my Comcast VOIP service. Just plug the main base into the cable modem jack and you're set to go!

Do these eufy cam's have a limited duration for recording the event, like another brand that only records 12 seconds unless you pay for a subscription? Also, does eufy impose a minimum off-time between recording events, like 5 min minimum between events?
You can choose 30-second or 60-second recordings. I do not know what the “off time” is, though you can make changes in the app. There is no subscription fee for eufy.

It would really be nice to have a link to the manual. Only comes with one battery? What is the model of a spare battery and how much is it? No info on Shark site or anywhere. Strange for $350.
This model comes with a single, rechargeable battery that lasts up to 60 minutes (the original DuoClean had two batteries that lasted up to 30 minutes each. This model requires only the power adapter, meaning that you can charge the battery while inserted into the vacuum or removed from the vacuum. The battery is Model XSBT750, and is rated to last for two years. I do not know the cost of a spare battery.

How is this charged? If it has rechargeable batteries , can you use the older model of the cordless’s batteries?
The Vertex DuoClean comes with one rechargeable battery, which is different from the batteries on the original DuoClean model. The Vertex comes with a power adapter that you plug directly into the battery. Therefore, you can charge the battery while inserted into the vacuum, or removed from the vacuum.

What is the decibel level of this vacuum? Is it noisy or quiet?
I don’t know the decibel level, but this vacuum is relatively quiet.

I wish this had two batteries like the previous unit that I own and use currently. Is there a bundle option with a second battery somewhere?
This updated model has only one battery because the battery can last for up to 60 minutes. I have the original DuoClean model with two batteries; the two batteries each last less than 30 minutes. Maybe that’s why there is only one battery; I do not know if there is a two-battery bundle available.

Will it stand upright with no help?
If you try to stand this vacuum with the power head and battery, it is top-heavy. You can fold it and leave it upright without tipping over, or you can lean the power head on a counter or table if you need to leave it for a few minutes. I fold mine for storage, so it does not tip over.
