What's great about it: Affordable, sharp, VR, and durable.
What's not so great: N/A
I was searching for a zoom lens for wildlife photography, and decided to purchase this one based on my experience using this particular model at work. This lens has a great reputation, and the particular one I purchased has far exceeded my expectations. I have read many complaints about the cost and weight of this lens. My opinion is that you get what you pay for when it comes to lenses. This one is a great value for a high quality package. I would purchase again, and have already recommended this model to friends. I have captured well over 5000 images with this lens, and the quality is outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is a Nikon 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 G lens compatible with a Nikon D3100

I have a D3100 Nikon camera and I want to buy a telephoto lens for it. Is a good option?
Yes, I am using the same lens on a D5100 with outstanding results. As long as you purchase the Nikon AF-S series, they will focus with your camera.
