Great phone. Great still picture camera in ample lighting; OK in low lighting. Video camera is pretty basic. I wish the installed OS was Marshmallow instead of Lollipop.

What's great about it: Very easy to setup. Fast 1Gbps NIC.
What's not so great: USB port is 2.0 not 3.0.
- Great centralized DLNA server.
- Great centralized backup device.
- The only cons in my opinion are that the USB port is not 3.0 and that there is no way to implement user level security on an auxiliary USB drive.

Can this device be used by both Mac and PC together?

I know the description says that this device is both Mac and PC compatable but can it be used by both together? Are seperate partitions needed? What is the file system used?
- If you access it over the network then it can be used by Windows / Mac / Linux simultaneously.
- The actual internal filesystem is EXT4, but it is presented via Samba as NTFS.
- Internally, this is a Linux appliance.

Does this have a power (off/on) switch? I'd like to leave it plugged in all the time & just turn the switch on when needed - is that an option?

I'd like to have the drive plugged in (usb & power) and just turn the device on via a power switch to activate - does this come with a built in on/off switch?
No power switch, but it goes into some sort of sleep mode when not being accessed.
