What's great about it: I love that it turns my ipad mini into standby mode.
What's not so great: Nothing
The cover, which doubles as a stand is a perfect match for my ipad mini. I've tried 3rd party covers for my regular size ipads with mixed results. Buy a real apple product and you can't go wrong!

I had an earlier slingbox and it took many phone calls to the Sling folks to get it up and running. The 500 was amazingly easy to get set up and gives a great picture to my cell phone and IPAD. It's the best device I've ever owned. My brother bought one this week and he also loves it!

You bet it does! Works on my IPAD with a $14.99 app from apple, and also works on my Galaxy S4 cell phone too!

does slingbox 500 work with tivo

Yes, the slingbox 500 works flawlessly with my Tivo Premier Elite! I'm able to watch all my recorded programs on either my Samsung Galaxy S4 or my IPad. Get it, you'll love it. And a lot easier to set up than the older models. It was a breeze!
