I bought this laptop as a replacement. Glad that it includes a disk drive, as I use that to watch DVDs and listen to CDs. I don't think online videos play smoothly, not the best picture.Overall, pleased with the function the laptop, weight and like the number pad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I asked for a spare charger because I have 2 Apple devices, and my daughter has 1. It's too bad that Apple doesn't include a plug with their newer iPod- cord only. This charger works just like I'd expect and seems well-made. We've worn out cheaper versions.

Fitbit One is an easy-to-use fitness tracker. I like the clip-on varsatility of the One instead of the wristband of other trackers. I like being able to track my sleep, too. And the free website makes tracking and competing with friends even more fun.

What's great about it: Bluetooth 4.0
I bought this mainly for it's Bluetooth 4.0 technology. Works great for the reasons I bought it. Great for reading books.

What's great about it: lifetime warranty
What's not so great: extremely difficult to apply
Once I got the screen guard on, it's been fine. Putting it on was a royal pain, and now there's a piece of fuzz under the sheet that is permanently part of my iPad. I'm not entirely happy with the rubbery feel of the sheet because my nails sometimes seem to snag on it. Not as smooth as the protector on my iPod.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a relative interested in the fitbit. She does not have a smart phone or ipad. Can this be compatible with a computer?

Yes, when you buy a Fitbit, it comes with a little piece called a dongle that plugs into a computer USB port. Think of it as a receiver for your Fitbit. I got my Fitbit One for Christmas in 2012 and only had a computer to upload my data for several months. It will store approximately 1 week of data so it doesn't need to be uploaded often.

Is this waterproof or water resistant?

I swim, bike and run 3 times a week and would like to know if it is wearable in the pool. If not, how would it track my activity when I am in the water?
According to Fitbit, their current products are not waterproof. They are sweatproof only. I accidently got in the shower with my Fitbit clipped on my bathing suit without a problem, but I wouldn't swim with it. To track swimming, you just need to pay attention to how long you swam and then manually enter the time and the distance, if known, on the Fitbit website, under the activities tab. Someone at Fitbit told me lately that they are in the process of developing a waterproof version. If you need more help with logging activities, the online Fitbit support is very good. There's a whole community of users there to help you!
