Do you still like your washer?

For those who have bought it over a year ago- how do you still like it? I heard most washers nowadays are are of cheap plastic components (gears, etc) that expand, loosen or break over time.

I'm considering a Speed Queen brand because of this (they're commercial strong but for home use, but it's way more expensive (2,400+)..anyhoo, this LG would be my next option but am worried about all the plastic..

thoughts? problems?
