I ordered this for my wife to use with her new IPhone 7 and have to yell you that the quality along with function is very good. A magnetic clasp keeps it secure when closed and inside it has many areas to hold needed credit cards, I'D or cash when you need to travel light and not use a large purse. I am glad that I watch the Best Buy Daily Deals because this went on sale and I saved $500. I love all the features on this Denon..4k ready..dedicated amps for each channel..bluetooth ready..Heos wireless..Atmos speaker ready..easy set up and excellent sound quality. With the added available upgrade to Aurora 3d this reciever truly has everything I wanted.

I waited 3 years before I upgraded my S5 because of relative lack luster phones up to now. My S8+ so far has been fantastic and worth the wait. Lots of new features and much larger screen makes this phone well worth waiting for!

These speaker stands are all metal and have a weighted base assembly. I highly recommend using these for smaller cube type speakers. I attempted to use some Bose bookshelf units but the stands do not support larger speakers as they will very likely be falling over due to the base being too narrow to balance them.
They are however perfect for smaller rear cube style surround speakers like the Bose 161 model speakers. I wouldn't recommend anything larger than these.
These stands incorporate the speaker wires running inside the stand neck to give a clean finish look. Just don't use heavy thicker speaker wire. The diameter of the stand and the exit holes are limited, so consider 18 gauge speaker wire. They are of good quality and work perfect for the right size speaker and wire. The stand height provides enough clearance for speakers to clear the back of an average sofa, so for back surround applications it is fantastic.

Can you set this up for a 7.2.4 surround system if you connect a external 2 channel amp , making this a 11 channel system

I am setting mine up that way without a secondary amp..the speaker outputs for 4 rear height speakers don't require having a second amp from what I understand and read while going through the set up process. So the 7-2-4 set up should work without requiring more equipment. One thing that you can do with this reciever is turn of the internal amplifier to speaker channels you are not using..being each channel has it's own internal amp as part of the reciever design. I hope this info helps....

If you are referring to a 'subwoofer' this reciever has two connections in the back next to each other to provide sound to both at the same time...a very cool feature!

Are these stands compatible with mirage nanostat prestige speakers

I looked at the Nanotat speakers and found the small cube size would be perfect for these stands.
