I’ve tried it a few times and it works okay, but not great. Heating time seems inconsistent between batches, even after ready light comes back on. Seems like a pale imitation of the ones I use at hotel breakfast rooms. But it works. Might need to get used to it more, but I shouldn’t have to at all.

I’ve always liked these Camelbak water bottles. The straw is key so you don’t have to tilt the bottle, especially when driving. This one doesn’t fit my car console so well, but another Camelbak does fine. This one is lighter weight but still insulated, which also comes in handy for car use, especially.

This is a solid piece of equipment. It's amazing how many screens/projectors out there still only take VGA, so it comes in handy. These adapters are a bit pricey though. A good way to use up reward points.

I've been using this for a while now and really like it. It's sturdy but not too bulky. It helps protect my iPad, which is more prone to dings than an iPhone. I like the texture of the fabric-like cover and the added grip it offers, but it wears extremely well. The design is very versatile; I hardly ever have a need to take it out of its case.

Does a nice job keeping cable tidy. I got one for my car, which is a great place to use this so the cable doesn't dangle all over the place. Then got a second one for my desk, where it's easy for the cable to get lost in or interfere with other things on my desk.

before very long, the unit stopped charging my devices unless I held the USB plug and put lateral pressure on it to maintain a good contact. Still works, but only if I continually hold the USB plug and apply pressure just so.

I'd go zero stars if that were possible. This "upgrade" is a terrible downgrade.
Some of this review will make sense only to more advanced users. But even for the most basic users, the Paste command does not work like you'd expect it to and as it's worked in every other version. By default it pastes values instead of formulas; you have to do a paste special and select all to get it to paste they way you'd do it in any other version. Ridiculous!
For somewhat more advanced users:
You cannot adjust the Quick Access Toolbar at all.

The only way to achieve the same result is to program some macros in Visual Basic and assign them to shortcut keys or buttons. And the Visual Basic support, though now available (it wasn't originally), is terrible. There is no object browser, no help, no Visual Basic programming reference, no basic editing tools, no tools for navigating among subs and functions within a module. In other words, they have dumped very basic functionality available in every other version, including 2011 for Mac (even though that's a pale shadow of the Windows version). I better stop there before my head explodes.

Got this so I could give up one of my set-top boxes. Paid for itself in a year. Works well. I especially like using it for airplay from my iPhone or iPad. Supports digital audio too. It's great for travel and frees from limitations of in-room cable. But if hotel wifi has a log-in, it can get tricky but can be done. Google "using apple tv in hotel room" for instructions. In some cases, it's better just to have an HDMI cable from your laptop to the TV.

I've had this a while now and have had several other Western Digital drives. Like the others, this one is solid and reliable. The ability to password protect the drive works well and is very good to have. Though I should note that unless I turn the password protection off, it can mess with aliases and other settings. Still, the password protection comes in handy while transporting, etc. Very nice size too for travel.
