WD - Blue 3TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Desktops
WD - Blue 3TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Desktops
Store edited photos, videos, and games on this 3.5-inch Western Digital hard drive. It has dynamic cache for optimizing allocation between reads and writes, and there's plenty of space to store files with its 3TB capacity.

Drive failed prematurely

Drive crashed after less than 1 month. Also, Best Buy charged about the same amount for a lower RPM drive (5400) as online sites charge for the faster transfer rate (7200).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Is this drive supposed to be fully compatible with a Gigabyte- X58A-UD3R motherboard? I've been having issues.

should be. Make sure drive is formatted as GPT, or you'll only be able to access 2 terabytes.
