I wanted headphones that I could wear listening to tv while working around the house. These are great for that. I can even go in the basement and outside with them on. They function exactly as I would like them to. At night when I go to bed my husband wears them while sitting in his recliner and the sound on the tv is low so it doesn't interefere with me. Love that!. Would maybe like a little bit more adjustment so they would fit tighter, but other than that are great.

Great microphone for a great price. Needed to buy an exchange gift and this fell right into that price range. My niece loved it. She wanted one to sing at various events and this totally filled the bill. She was very happy with it. The box was very helpful in determining which one to buy.

How do I eliminate the constant, loud hum from the headphones?

There is a constant, loud hum through the headphones that I cannot eliminate. I have followed all the troubleshooting guidelines including changing the radio frequency with the channel selector switch and then using the Auto Tuning button. The transmitter is plugged into the speaker output jack (marked 8 ohms) on my LG TV. There is no jack marked "headphones". The TV does not allow me to adjust the volume coming through the speaker output jack and is very loud when using regular wired headphones. If this is the problem, is there a solution?
I don't know what you have for tv service (cable, satalite, dvd, ect.) but here i have a cable box. I connected mine directly into the cable audio out
connection on the cable box .I did need to buy a splitter for the right and left side audio out connection.so the tv would still use the internal speakers if needed. If you use the hdmi out then you don't need to use the splitter just plug into the audio out on your cable, satalite box.
