Logitech is still the king of high end remotes. I easily programmed the remote and hub to tie in my Bluray, Media PC, and Roku with my big screen TV. Then used IFTTT to integrate the Hub with my Amazon Echo. Now I can just say "Alexa, trigger Watch a Movie" or "Turn off TV"

I got a great price on this during the deal-of-the-day sale for $69.

Apple - iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 16GB - Space Gray

The thinnest iPad ever is also the most capable. It's loaded with advanced technologies, including the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

Great tablet, but 16GB will not be enough.

Still the standard by which other tablets are judged. However, the entry level 16GB is not enough if you intend to load any videos on it for trips (where you don't have access to Wi-Fi for streaming)

The Apple router is definitely more expensive than other 802.11ac routers, but works very well with Apple devices. Be warned there is no web interface for configuring/managing it, you MUST use the Apple supplied "Airport App". (available for iOS, MacOS, and Windows)

We tried the AppleTV, Chromecast, Samsung and Sony bluray players, and even a few Smart TV's, but this beats them all by far. The largest variety of channels available, plus the almost unlimited selection of "private" channels makes this the true winner.

And the wireless streaming of the audio through the remote to wired headphones seals the deal for late night viewing.

I still think it is crazy to spend more then $20 for a thin piece of clear plastic. But it is cheaper than replacing the screens on my wife's and kids iPhones. We've tried the cheaper ones at the mall, but keep coming back to Zagg.

Best Answer

This cable will get the signal out of the computer via the HDMI port and into the DVI on the projector, but the DVI connection is ONLY video. You will also need a separate cable for the audio (probably a 1/8" headphone connector) - either to the tiny speaker in the projector or a real speaker system.
