Installation was quick. It connected to phone Bluetooth and was able to detect my home Wi-Fi in a few seconds using the MyQ app. I already had the MyQ garage control device and as soon I added the MQ smart garage camera, it allow me to link it to the smart garage control device on the MyQ app. With a quick software update it was up and running in under five minutes. It has a magnetic mounting base and also came with an magnetic strip option that can be screwed to the garage ceiling if needed. The camera itself is mounted on a swivel mount so you can adjust the view to get the best view.
Video Quality and Field of View - The garage view for a 2 car garage is pretty good with the 130 wide angle view and 1080p resolution. Now I can monitor the motion in the garage with smart alerts and when my amazon packages get delivered inside my garage. The night vision is also pretty good with great image quality in low lights.
Features - It has most of the smart camera features that you find in the outdoor or indoor smart cameras - people detection, video playback option, live video streaming, rich text notification, two-way communication, etc. but to avail most benefits you need to subscribe to their plan, else the notification will be bare minimal which I thought was good enough for my need.
Overall, it’s a great add to my MyQ garage control system to monitor activities when the garage door opens and closes.

The Acer Aspire Vero series represents a lineup of eco-friendly laptops designed with sustainability in mind—a realization that struck me when reflecting on the number of laptops I've gone through over the past 20 years, many of which likely ended up in recycling bins or landfills. As someone deeply conscious of our environment, I decided to give this laptop a try, with the intention of passing it on to my kids for schoolwork.

Arlo Pro 5S 2K is Arlo's latest-generation product with a host of powerful features. It serves as a significant upgrade to the Arlo Pro series camera that I currently own. Arlo has consistently impressed me with its performance and the robust security features it offers. However, the only drawback is that to fully unlock its potential, you must subscribe to their service package; otherwise, it functions similarly to a standard camera, albeit with superior image and video resolution but lacking motion or activity alerting features. It comes with a 30-day trial period to access all the security features it offers and with my existing subscription, adding this to my existing set-up was a no-brainer!
Installation: Setting up the Arlo Pro 5S 2K was a breeze, taking less than 5 minutes for my Arlo app to detect the camera. A notable feature of the Pro 5S 2K is that it can function as a standalone (without the need for Arlo base station) camera with dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4G and 5G). The package includes a charging cable and an outdoor mount.
Features:
• This camera is both wireless and weatherproof. My four-year-old outdoor Arlo cameras have endured various weather conditions and are still going strong, making the new ones an excellent choice for outdoor use.
• When evaluating outdoor cameras, the first three aspects I consider are video and image clarity, resolution, and field of view, and the Pro 5S excels in all of these categories. The images are sharper, even in low light, and I can zoom in up to 12X for enhanced detail on distant objects. With a 160-degree view, it's ideal for monitoring larger areas.
• The night vision capabilities are outstanding, with color night vision and an integrated spotlight it captures crucial details in color during nighttime recording. With its 2K HDR resolution and 12X zoom, it provides more detailed images.
• While I can't speak to the battery life yet, given my past experience with Arlo devices, it should last at least three months with minimal alerts. The Pro 5S also offers a "low power mode" setting to extend battery life when it drops below 10% - configurable to 20% and 30%.
• In terms of security features, it offers a plethora of options to tailor to your needs, from simple phone alerts for motion detection to the ability to call a friend or activate a siren and emergency response team. These features require a subscription, but they are well worth the investment, especially for peace of mind during extended travels. Additionally, it features a microphone and supports two-way audio for outdoor conversations.
• The app is user-friendly, feature-rich, and easy to navigate for configuring settings or reviewing alerts and feeds.
• Phone notifications are impressively quick, typically arriving within seconds, which is a significant improvement compared to another brand I've used with reporting delays.
Overall, Arlo cameras have consistently proven reliable in my experience, but the Arlo Pro 5S 2K brings even more features to the table, making it a worthwhile upgrade for my outdoor surveillance needs. I definitely recommend it for outdoor use, especially if you already have an existing Arlo setup and subscription, adding this camera for outdoor use is a no-brainer!

I was super excited to try this device as I spent years testing different health monitoring devices, I can get my hands on to track my daily activities, monitor my heart rate, measure ECG, stress levels, etc. I was amazed by the amount of information this tiny little gadget captures every day. It's all about telling the right story from all the data it collects and Oura app does it the best. The patterns and trends on the health data started to make more sense after a week of data. Just looking at the daily "readiness level" I can gauge my interest and focus to carry on with rest of the activities I planned for the day as my day progresses. Can't wait to see the trend charts which I think would require at least a month's data. It also has a psychological effect on you and forces you to follow a routine, especially on your sleep timing and hours, to prepare for the day ahead. It nudges you to wind-down for the day as you get closer to your sleep timing and recommends a few activities such as meditation, deep breathing, etc. to help unwind for the day.
Design
Simple design, lighter, sleek look, with rounded edges and a little thicker than a wedding band. I had it for a little over a week and I felt very comfortable wearing it on my pointer finger all day long. I occasionally switch it to middle finger when I am out doing physical activities such as running or hiking for long hrs. as I noticed my fingers shrink a bit when I sweat and didn't want to lose my ring. The battery lasts 7 days and comes with a charger. I noticed it doesn't consume much battery during the day and the battery levels drop a few (5%-12%) percent at night as it's constantly measuring data. I charge it every morning and it only takes a few mins to fully charge. There are three bean shaped sensors that are in constant contact with the inside of the finger, didn't notice any difference or discomfort from those protruding sensors. Its water resistant up to one hundred meters. I did a little a little research to see what was new on the gen 3 ring compared to older ones - it has bigger memory and updated sensors for blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate monitoring, etc., and a new "Sleep Staging Beta" analysis which I liked the most. With location and access to other health app access it automatically recorded my workouts and displayed it on the Oura app.

What does all that data mean to me?
I am a person with high energy levels and do a ton of outdoor activities during the day and weekends. I was more interested in the "readiness number" and my "sleep number" to gauge my focus and motivation to carry on with daily activities that I planned for the day. I monitor those numbers change each morning and spend a few mins studying the underlying factors that contributed to it - heart rate (resting, average, and active) quality of sleep (Awake, REM, deep sleep, light sleep), body temperature, blood O2 (SPO2) levels, etc. The most relevant feature or the one that I am most interested in is the sleep analysis it does every night. I wore my Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 just to compare the data and I was amazed at how accurate the Oura ring data was. Kudos to all the study the Oura team did and the effort they put in to perfect this device. It's all about the quality of the data it collects and the ability to draw the right correlation to predict your readiness number, sleep number, etc., and detect deviations from normal activity on your heart rate, body temperature, O2 levels, etc. to predict an impending illness as your body alters those to fight off the sickness that’s brewing inside. So far, the numbers have been pretty accurate with other devices that I used as reference and now I just rely on my Oura ring to track my daily data. It is definitely on par with other health wellness tracking devices when it comes to the features and tracking your well-being on a daily basis, and it is worth every penny.

To get the most value out of the data and charts, I would recommend spending some time reading through all the features and the contributing factors for the daily score it generates as there are lot of insights you can learn about body functions and recovery times. The most valuable thing I found from this device is my sleep pattern and the quality of sleep which I had no clue until now and am working on improving the numbers to increase my readiness level for the day ahead! Given the amount of information it presents, the subscription is well worth it! Love it to the core and I already have several of my friends looking to get one.
BTW - this is less of a fitness tracker and more of a well-being/wellness tracking device!
The web interface needs some improvements as it only shows a few trends and doesn't have the same level of details the app does. I would love to see the same data on the web as well on the daily charts and analysis.

This device cools down by 30 degF in a sec, which was cool enough for my neck to instantly feel temperature difference compared to my surroundings. It's amazing how fast it responds to cool your neck when you turn on the cool mode. Nothing comes close to this device compared to the ones I tried in the past. I spend a lot of time running, hiking, and working outdoors and this is a blessing for people like me who sweat the minute the temperature goes above 80 degC. Nothing comes close to this device on the performance and battery life. I tried several other neck fans before this and hands down this is the best neck cooling device/personal AC unit by far!
Design and Functions: Well built, bladeless fans not that heavy for all day use. It has a flexible neck band and is comfortable enough to wear all day long, and quite operation compared to the ones I tried before that had loud fans. The digital battery display gave me an option to play with different Cool mode settings (C1/C2/C3) to make the device last a good 8 hr. hike at 85degC. Given its superior performance to cool faster and maintain the low temperature with a cool breeze blowing around my neck, I didn't have to go beyond C2 setting which kept the fan noise to a minimum. Just using the fan will get you 24+ hr run time, which is nice if you are out working all day and not have to worry about charging it for another day's use. Downloaded the app, took less than a minute to get it connected. Pretty simple and straight forward functions on the app. The app is very handy to instantly change the settings and not have to worry about taking the device off my neck to check the settings or battery life. The app has the setting to turn on the heat option that is not present on the device mode button options. It took a couple of hours to fully charge the device for the next day's use.
Performance: Nothing comes close to this next air conditioner when it comes to its cooling ability and capability to maintain that temperature all day long. It’s a true neck AC unit. The pair of metal plates on this Torras Coolify 2S is game changer. It's a great design for instant cooling and heating effects. Being an avid runner and hiker, I can instantly tell my fatigue levels were lower after my all-day hike which also decreased my recovery time. I bought several devices in the past that ended up as paperweights given meagre performance on those other than a noisy fan, but now I see myself using this on all my summer outdoor activities. It met my expectations and I wish I had known about this device earlier!

Slick design, stylish look with an extremely comfortable fit for long hrs. of listening. Comes in great colors. The setup was a breeze and took me less than a minute to have it paired to the B&W app and my galaxy fold 4 phone. Touch controls are great and very responsive. Tested it while I was on a two-hour run and felt very comfortable having it for two straight hours. Its IP54 rated meaning, resists dust and water splashes.
It has a 9.2mm dynamic driver with defining range, the bass which falls in lows or low midrange is below my expectations (varies with individual love for bass) and expected more given its price. The mids and highs are amazingly good, crisp audio, richer and more lively audio experience for all genres even at high volume. These earbuds definitely stand out on the audio clarity among 20+ ones I reviewed so far when it comes to picking up the mids and highs.

• Good battery life. Lasted a little over 4.5 hrs. at normal volume and 19 hrs. of listening time with the case battery.

Had a few glitches where the earbuds connectivity was flaky and cut out couple times after few hours of listening. It happened a couple times and I had to disconnect and reconnect the earbuds to fix it. I wasn't sure if it was my phone (galaxy fold 4) or the app or the buds. Looking for an app/software update if this is related to the earbuds. Didn't have any issues with other earbuds though. Also, the earbuds doesn't stay connected on the B&W app all the time, so you have reconnect to the app to change the settings or try out other features. The app needs some improvement and a few more features for audio settings - personalized equalizer settings would be a good addition.
Overall, I am impressed by the audio quality, the design and comfort for long hours of listening and would highly recommend it. I was always impressed by B&W's new products and the amazing sound quality they have on their audio devices. As an audiophile, I am always on the lookout for the best, and B&W never failed to impress me with their innovative technology. The app needs a little improvement along with the few fixes on the earbuds for flaky connection at times. It also needs a little improvement on the ANC technology to be on par with earbuds in that price range.

Best alternative for razor blades at a low cost

Great alternative for razor blades at a lower cost. I used it a couple times with Norelco OneBlade Pro and was happy with the close shave I get with the OneBlade in just one pass. I haven't noticed any dullness or deterioration on blade even after several uses. No razor bumps, nicks, or cuts and it is perfect for people with sensitive skin. The blades are well designed to allow close contact with the skin and effortlessly glide to give you a close shave. This is a better alternative if you have a thick beard. These blades are perfect for a quick beard trim or a close shave. I used it in the shower with shaving gel. They fit well with the adjustable precision comb as well. Cleaning is a breeze, I just run it under water for a minute. My only complaint is that they are fragile, and you can easily damage the blade if you accidentally drop it in the shower. I recommend a hard case if you are planning to travel with it.
I definitely recommend it over a regular razor for the same result at a lower cost. Saves a lot of money in the long run if you shave every other day.

I was amazed on how precise the OneBlade technology is for trimming my beard down to exact length and for shaving as well. This is my first time trying a trimmer instead of razor for shaving and was surprised on how close shave you can get with the Norelco Oneblade Pro. I am completely happy and see how effortless it is for beard trimming and shaving in the least amount of time with just one device. The trick is all with its unique OneBlade technology that adjusts to the face contours and maintains a constant skin contact to offer a close shave like a real razor. The blade has a glide coating with dual protection system with rounded tips, so you don't have to worry about any nicks or cuts. I tried dry and wet (with shaving gel) and loved it, and don't see a need to splurge on razor blades and precision trimmers anymore. No more razor bumps! It has a pretty long battery life and I see it lasting at least 10 shaves before I have to recharge it. It took less than an hour for it to charge from zero to 100%. Amazing blade life as well, dramatically cuts down the cost by not having to constantly stock up razor blades for those shave every other day. The best part is the adjustable precision comb with 14 settings that allowed me to trim my side hair to the right length. I even use it to shave my body hair now.

I was excited to get my hands on the new Sennheiser's Ambeo soundbar plus. It packs a punch with a rated 400W (RMS) in a compact design. This is at a lower price point compared to its flagship Ambeo Max but brings the same experience (almost) at a small footprint. Being an audiophile, I am always on the lookout for the best soundbars and home audio systems. I tested over fifty sounds bars in the last ten years and the Sennheiser's Ambeo soundbar plus stands out on several different levels for its price range and is well worth the money. It is packed with features and several connectivity options to connect to TV or for a standalone music system.
Installation was a breeze. It took less than 5 mins to set it up as I already had their "smart control" app that immediately detected the soundbar and let me configure in mins. It also came with a nice handy remote. It supports Dolby Atmos, dts X and MPEG-H (common in Europe) audio along with their Ambeo 360 reality audio (3D). It has a built-in mic as well for voice activation/control.
Design: Small footprint, low profile that doesn’t obstruct the TV viewing area. It is loaded with nine speakers which includes a dual subwoofer (top facing) to bring in the same experience as a 7.1.4 speaker system in a very compact design. The best part is its self-calibration technology that maps the rooms to customize and bring the same cinematic experience and immersive sound as a 7.1.4 speaker system. I tested it at different heights and had the best experience when it's at your viewing level or at the chest level in a room with 15-foot ceiling. There is also a wall mount kit option available on their website.
I watched Avatar on a 65-inch Curved 3D TV and compared the experience with my home theater room and was blown away by the audio quality and the richness in the sound. I was so pleased with the audio quality that I couldn't resist and ordered the Ambeo Sub to bring the home theater experience to my bedroom. Their patented Ambeo technology delivers 3D sound effects with the speakers facing in all different directions to mimic the 7.1.4 effect. I cranked up the volume to max and the audio was crystal clear, I didn't hear any muffled voices at all. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with is the bass, felt it was a little low compared to the experience you get with a powered sub-woofer. Obviously, it's not an apples-to-apples comparison given the soundbar's design and weight limitations. I recommend adding a sub to take your experience to a whole new level.

Connectivity Options: It has a ton of connectivity options. Apart from the physical ports (HDMI, OPT, Aux, USB, and Ethernet) it also supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple Airplay 2, Chromecast along with support for few apps such as Spotify, Tidal connect, etc. Their "Smart Control" app is pretty intuitive and comes with a few additional features such as EQ settings (preset), etc.
Overall, I recommend it for its 3D sound effects and recommend pairing it with the Ambeo sub to take the cinematic experience to a whole new level in a compact design!

I recently switched to Adobe photoshop elements and premiere 2023 from a different software. I was able to speed up my content creation process with just a few clicks of a button. I am glad that I switched to using 2023 version to edit pics and videos for personal and business use as it took the guess work out of photo and video editing process. I got more creative with the new tools and features on website creation. It was perfect timing for the 2023 release as I was getting ready to print customized greeting cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Installation was quick, it took about 10 minutes to install the new software. The Photoshop elements automatically organized and grouped my pictures and videos into media, people, places, events, date, etc. and it also tagged the location of my pictures and videos. I like the location tagging feature as now I can browse the map to find the right pictures with ease. I can overlay pictures that blend with the background, replace backgrounds to suit the right occasion, etc. I love the pattern brush feature as I can now create special effects on the pictures with tons of options. The expert mode shows the sequence of changes I made to the pic which is perfect to go back and fix things after I get done with the changes. The best part of the Photoshop Elements is the collage template collection which has tons of options. I used to spend hours creating collages and now I just select the images and pick the template to create my greeting cards in seconds. I also tried the slide show option to add marketing content for my friend's website and it just took a few clicks to create the right content. The second-best thing I like is the "moving elements" under the enhance tab which is perfect for website creation or to animate few things by changing the background on still pictures. I can now directly post or share my content on social media or with elements web option from the software. There are also several lifelike backgrounds that you choose and add them to old pictures to give them a complete new look. I took my web content creating to a whole new level by adding animation to still pictures.
This is perfect software to edit, create new content, and upload it instantly to social media in minutes. You can create special effects with the AI features in Adobe Premiere Elements which is a great tool to create content for digital marketing. I was able to create animation videos using a series of pictures for my website, change background settings on still pictures, etc. for digital marketing, etc. with just a few clicks.
I highly recommend Photoshop Elements and Premiere 2023 if you want to auto organize your pictures and create amazing content in minutes. It has guided instructions on how to use the features to edit pictures and videos. Great tool for people who are into digital media creation. I just downloaded the mobile companion apps so I can create content on-the-go on my iPad.
