What's great about it: Great 'surround' sound
What's not so great: Unit turns off each time the tv turns off
This was one of the best purchases we have made in recent years. The sound is sharp; there is not a series of wires required to achieve theater quality sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Using the TV remote to control the volume

If I use the remote on my TV to turn up the sound, will that turn up the sound on the Bose? Or do I need to use the remote with the Bose unit?
We found that the remote enabling the TV sound did not give the quality of the BOSE sound. We turned the TV sound down to very low in order to get the best BOSE quality sound. Only issue we had was that we have to turn on the BOSE each time we turned the TV on. We have not been able tow work around this yet, but still trying to figure out how to synch the two.
