This hard drive operated smoothly and quickly.
No 12 step setup program here.
Fast and compact.
Works as I hoped and expected from a proven company.
Fully expect to still be using it for at least five years no worries.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can I use this interchangeably between windows vista and windows 8.1?

I want to back up all my files from an old PC with Windows Vista into this external hard drive. Will I be able to pull out the files using a new laptop with a Windows 8.1 readily or do I need to do any reformatting?
That's exactly my situation and I had no problem at all swapping between computers and systems.
