What's great about it: An energetic, well-scripted sequel
What's not so great: It feels a little "been there, done that"
This movie is a fun ride from start to finish. It doesn't have all the origin stuff like the first JJ Abrams Trek movie, so can get right into the action. It's Wrath of Khan re-imagined, with plenty of things twisted and flipped from the 1982 classic. Every crewmember is brought forward and given a role to service the story.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Pacific Rim is awesome, scary, weird, exciting, exuberant, and ridiculous
What's not so great: The thinly characterised humans who pilot the robots in mind-synched pairs inevitably get dwarfed
Pacific Rim is, as you might expect, a visual extravaganza brimming with lush colors, state-of-the-art CGI effects and the promised robots on monsters hard-core fights to the death.

What's great about it: The Nut Job is a delightfully goofy slapstick cartoon with a surprisingly dark heart
What's not so great: Plot stretched out
The bottom line: Kids may be mildly amused by The Nut Job, but adults accompanying them won't find much to capture their interest.

I love SanDisk but it seems like I go go through them sooner than expected. But I do prefer these over other brands as a lesson learned the hard way.

What's not so great: Tech support lacks
Cannot adjust MTU to improve streaming. I was given some questionable information that I have to have the router configured for PPPoE and using DSL; I have broadband service from Comcast.

If using these with a tv, can the user control his volume and others hear and control their volume from the tv?

My husband always has the tv on so loud! I'm looking for a headset for him that he can control and I can still hear the tv at a normal level. Please tell me there is something out there!
Using a bluetooth transmitter connected to the audio output of your cable or satellite box, as I have, does not interrupt the audio to the TV. The audio outputs I'm referring to are the red and white RCA connections on the back of the cable or satellite box. The headset has volume control that should suit his desire.
