I really like it, I don't have to get off the bed to adjust the temperature. I have it all scheduled. The app works perfect! Easy to install, however the installation people are NOT so helpful.

I used to be a Denon guy, then Pioneer guy, then for some odd reason I tried this TX-NR838. Man the sound is SO original to its core. It sound like how it should sound if you were present at the music production. I like TOP of the line receiver; hence I had top of line Denon, Pioneer SC-89; Now I have Onkyo TX-NR3030; I upgrade my 838 to 3030. I listen to lots of Hindi Music; the music just sound great. When I watch movies the sound separation is REAL and VERY noticeable. I would highly recommend Onkyo high end receiver over Pioneer receiver any day.

Can i use this on my new bamboo floors?
Absolutely, I don't see WHY not. if you can use it on hardwood floor; bamboo floor similar to hardwood floor hence you should not have any issues.

Motorized brush
I realize the PET MODELS have the motorized brush but we do not have pets and was wondering if it would clean as well. From the one answer I rec'd previously, it sounds like he was not sure but that I should vacuum more often. I can do that with a much less expensive vacuum.
I bought this one, I don't have pet; but it cleans great hardwood floor and carpet. Time to time I vacuum the bathroom with some hair on the floor this vac works perfect.
