What's great about it: controls all special features available on BR discs
What's not so great: can turn into another universal remote to lose
As you should know by now the PS3 is a 3D blu ray player. (one of the major reasons I bought one myself). In spite of that the PS3 controller simply does not have the options that a real remote would. For example my copy of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" has an interactive feature that allows the viewer the experience of "throwing" things at the screen much like has become the staple of that movie. To do so the viewer would use the colored buttons of the BRD remote. So, again the controller simply won't cut it. So, if you watch BRDs with interactive features or simply need more control over your BRD ecperience. this is well worth the money. I mean you already own a Blu ray player (PS3) why not utilize it's full capability?

What's great about it: you can use this unit to connect your old devices
What's not so great: no component in or out
We all have old composite or s-video connections that just won't all fit on our televisions. Well, with this you can and unlike other switches out there you DON'T need a power source. Meaning you wont have to find an outlet for the needlessly massive plug those usually come with. Rather you merely tap the button on the face and off you go.

What's great about it: pleases fans
What's not so great: not many features
If you're already a fan then why are you reading this? Just buy it already. If you aren't a fan then you should start by reading a review on season One. My only major quibble is that there are only two special features. Fans would most definately like more than that.

What's great about it: fantastic picture and sound for the money
What's not so great: not a 3d nor smart tv
This unit is fantastic value for it's size. the picture is excellent and doesn't give the "unnatural" picture quality that some televisions of this size do. Another problem is the limited inputs. If you have multiple devices you'll need to invest in a swich as well. Still, I use mine for gaming and this unit doesnt have much trouble keeping up. Although it isn't a smart tv if you have gaming systems like I do why would you need that? I would've liked a 3d tv but if you're like me and just want a large television and wait until the price of 3d tvs drop then this unit is an amazing value.

Does this switch allow for s-video in and composite out? Our home theater system has s-video but new our tv does not.

yes composite out though be careful of the diffrence between composite and component. composite has 3 cables, component has 5.

where can i get rockband drums for ps3

many places sell those look online. you may find a retailer or find a used set almost anywhere. i know a few years ago there was a stand alone drum set. so just hit the search bar on almost any retailer and you'll see it's availibility.
