Great Way to Avoid Monthly Charges

Picked this up from my local Best Buy. if you're like me, you probably just want to get a years worth out of the way in January (and not having to deal with the monthly bill. I also do this with my HULU subscription at the beginning of the year. A $100 is not quite a years worth on the 2 device plan, but it comes awfully close. Got sent a 1 month trial to come back via email, so it works out great. Only gripe I have is the rate increase every couple of years. It it ever reaches a $15, 2 device plan (which I'm sure it will), it won't be as cost efficient anymore compared to HULU and Amazon (So I'll probably ditch it).

Nice sound. I absolutely love the color. I think the price is a little steep due to the actual color (you'll notice most of the other colors are cheaper). Just PM it with using Shop Saavy (which BB also uses) like I did in order to keep the price the same as the others.

Great first smartphone for the teenager in your life. Picked this up from a BB deal of the day for $79.99.
Pros: it is a full version of the Galaxy S3 (and carry the same specs)
Downside: Can only use Sprints network. Sprint charges appx $48 a month - unlimited talk/text and 3gb data. Roaming is not included (??). Can't unlock to work with other carriers (freedompop, straight talk, etc).
Thoughts: Good initial first phone, but will more than likely upgrade her next year. Can't recommend this due to it's Cons.

Does what it says (play and charge). WARNING: This cannot hook this up via usb to a pc and play games using your xbox controlller. It will not work. This was the main reason I bought this (my fault, but I had BB Certificates to use and couldn't go wrong with another battery, which is included).

Bought this based on the Tom's Hardware review and it didn't disappoint. After a bit of a learning curve (this is my first gaming mouse), I noticed a big difference. Match this up with one of those elongated mouse pads (that take up most of the desk) and you're in business. TH voted this the best FPS around and I now know why.

I bought this monitor (again) due to it having 2 HDMI ports as well as 1ms time. Colors are great (once calibrated).
Only downside is the stand. The stand is flimsy (AND I MEAN FLIMSY)! If you have a desk the rocks (even a little bit), I would go to the store and take a look. If you're wall mounting or putting it in an arm, you're good. Other than that I love it (and plan on buying my 3rd before Xmas). Make sure you get BB to PM (because the prices on this particular monitor fluctuate to crazy numbers every few weeks online. Must be a supply and demand issue).

What's great about it: Not having to input your CC number online
What's not so great: Nothing
Bought 2 of these. Highly recommended if you're like me and do not purchase Gaming Cards online or do not like to input your CC online with those sites. These "Breaches" are becoming commonplace in the Gaming community and IMO it's just a matter of time before they get to Steam. Love Steam and will continue to support them!!

What's great about it: Compact, easy to set up and price
What's not so great: IR is a little buggy on different TV's while using the remote
Having already bought 2 Roku 3s, I wanted to try this out in my guest room. It works as promised and delivers the same quality as the Roku 3's I own. Maybe it's just me or my ISP (Comcast), but I didn't notice any hard lag. There is an occasional hiccup, but nothing bothersome. All in all a great product.
Now here's the con: Depending on your TV's HDMI location (which if like mine, and most, is on the side) and the supplied remote, The ROKU has a time responding via the IR. For me it was a really hard time (like anywhere from 5sec to 20 sec delay). Then if you were doing multiple commands, it might lock up on you. THE FIX: Download the ROKU app on your phone and use that as the remote. Response time as well as distance improved 80%. Most likely due to your phone's improved IR than the ROKU. That's when why I knew it's either the remote, which for some reason is an old model ROKU remote with a Blockbuster (??) video quick button, but more than likely the back/side position of the stick in contrast to your TV. WARNING: I have an Iphone 4. If you're using your phone as the remote, make sure you close the ROKU app (or plug your phone in) once you find something to watch (it does juice the battery if you leave the app on).
All in all WELL WORTH $50 and highly recommended if you cannot afford the ROKU 3. FYI, in my opinion, the Roku 3 is only slighly faster than this stick, so for some of you, the stick might be the way to go (especially since the ROKU 4 might be right around the corner). FYI (before you ask), YES it does have You Tube.

It comes with an ac connector for the wall.

With stick is it always on or when you turn off TV with Fios wand and box does the stick turn off too Does stick need to reboot each time you turn
I can only speak to mine and it seems it is always on. Not sure if your tv (or any tv for that matter) has a shut down hdmi connections when turned off. I unhook mine if I'm not using it (just a preference. It gets a little hot and I'm always nervous about a voltage burst which could not only toast it, but my tv also since it stick has a ac connector also).

What can I watch for free?
Visit the Roku website (there are too many to list). Also Google "Roku Private Channels". These are channels not sponsored by Roku but work via Roku (I use these more than I do most of the Roku sponsored apps). Hope this helps!!

Log onto the Roku website for this information (there's just too many to list). Also google "Roku Private Channels". These are channels not supported by Roku, but can be accessed via Roku (I use these more than I do any Roku-sponsored app).

Can I get sports channels including ESPN with Roku?
Yes. It has the ESPN WATCH app. However, you only get ESPN3 for free (usually cricket, billards, women volleyball, but I noticed now College and Football Basketball Season has started, they showcase those games). No live ESPN news, First Take, Pardon the Interruption, etc. You will need to link your cable account to the ROKU with the ESPN Watch account to view that stuff.
