What's great about it: nothing compared to other drives
What's not so great: poor quality and poor technical support
Maxtor/Seagate had a good idea with the Onetouch 4 (Plus) concept. Unfortunately, the final result isn't worth even half the price.
My drive was first being used with a Mac which caused the partition type being GPT.
After that both Vista and XP had issues. XP couldn't handle the drive at all.
I lost the CD that came with the drive so I contacted Seagate support to get the download link (they require going through support for that!).
Asking support regarding the GPT partition (even telling them the drive had been used with a Mac) all they said is that the drive must have been connected to a Xbox and that there isn't anything I could do about it now.
The literally wished me "good luck" and hang up.

In case you run in a similar situation with a GPT partition all you need to do is running "DiskPart" on the XP command line and "CLEAN" the drive (you lose all data, though). I figured that out on the MS KB after my experience with Seagate's support.
The drive isn't the fastest one either so I just use it to store and archive recorded TV from my media center PC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Small in Size; good storage, USB powered
This is perfect for on the go storage in addition to any built in HD in your laptop or to quickly and easily move files between not-networked computers at home.
The fact that this external HD is USB powered makes it a perfect travel companion.
It works with Windows and Mac.
I would recommend this to a friend!

why has Westinghouse had more complaints than all other manufacturers combined?
I just bought my 4th Westinghouse TV.
One 32" stopped working after 8+ years while I have another 32" and a 42" still running after 11+ years.
There was a significant number of complaints about the poor picture quality of the new 55" I just bought a few days ago and I have no idea how those people got to that conclusion.
When I look at what I got for less than $300 I am very happy - and the picture quality is way more than I even expected from such an inexpensive 55" TV.
Plus, I am pretty sure it will last longer than that less than 4 year old LG 50" this new Westinghouse 55" is replacing

How fast does the water dispenser fill a 8oz glass and is there any problem with dripping?
about 5 seconds, maybe a little less to get 8oz / 1 cup of water

Will this printer do two sided scanning?
When I have multiple pages with printing on both sides to scan in, will the printer do duplex scanning or do I need to manually flip the pages over to scan the other side?

Do I need wireless internet for this to work or does it create its own signal transmission?
This uses its own wireless connection (similar to a wireless home phone). That being said, the more wireless devices using the same frequency are around the more likely it is that there are interferences and that can lead to signal degradation which leads to reduced signal range as well.

Cable to tv across a room
I'm trying to get cable feed to a tv across the room. I currently have a cable laying across the floor to cable box by tv. Can I use this to address? I assume I'd need to move cable box.
Keep in mind that you need USB power for your HDMI transmitter. A USB cable is included in the package but if your cable box doesn't have a USB port to power the HDMI transmitter this will only work if you find an alternative power source. In your case you probably can simply get an AC adapter with the appropriate USB connector.
