The BR-30 is a big bulb. Typically these are used in a bathroom, or if you have large 'cans' in your ceiling.

I love these "Lighted" charging cables. They look like ants running from your charger to your device. They run fast when the device needs a lot of charge, but they slow down as the device fills up. Once the charging is complete, the cable goes dark. I love this! You can tell the status of your device charging from two rooms away! I wish it came in more lengths - I've only seen this one-meter size. At least it comes in Lightning and micro-usb

With my old AV setup I had to turn the volume way up, and even then it was hard to understand the dialogue. This soundbar lets me understand the dialogue without my hearing aids. Thumbs up!

I have a fan with four bulbs, would i need to buy four $60 lights + a hub JUST to get my one room to illuminate a certain color?

No. You install a single $60 (actually, usually more like $40) bulb in your fan and put dummies in the other three slots. And a bridge. But I would add another lamp in the room for the color bulb and put monochrome Hue bulbs in the fan. But that's me.

What type of equipment do I need to operate them and what brand of smart phone?

You need the Philips Hue bridge - typically you start out with a 'kit' that will come with a couple of bulbs and a bridge. Any android or iPhone will work to communicate (via the bridge) to the bulbs. The software is free.

Will the sound bar connect to wireless network and operate as sound for TV as well as through sonos app for music?

It sure will. Add a couple of Play:1s for surrounds and you'll get a magnificent sound field when you're playing music. But the Playbar plays music just fine.

How is the sound quality without the subwoofer? Does it have enough bass?

If your purpose is to listen to TV shows, it has plenty of bass. If you're planning on playing back blu-ray action movies with massive explosions then maybe not. I have a Playbar and then added two Play:1s as surrounds and I actually turned down the bass a little bit. I don't intend to add the Sub any time soon.
