Harmony Hub with remote is an excellent for home automation. If you have Google Home or Alexa, it works really nicely with them.

Setup was really easy and intuitive. The best part about this hub is that you can schedule your activities like turning your TV on everyday morning for 7'0clcok CBS news, turn it off automatically at certain time after the TV is on.

The only downside is that it only allows 8 devices per hub. But that should be plenty to work with.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this remote have a 30 second fast forward and 7 second back?

Yes it does. Keep the fast forward button pressed for 3 seconds and it will have 30 second fast forward. Same thing for rewind. Keep the rewind button pressed for 3 seconds and it will do 7 seconds back.
