Great Movie - Weak 3D

Thought the movie was great. The 3D version though was weak and not as clear as the 2D version. You give up a bit of brightness when viewing 3D versions with active shutter 3D compared to 2D but in good 3D versions this is acceptable. The 3D version of Force Awakens was good. It had depth and for me the 3D version was more enjoyable than the 2D version. This is not the case with Rogue One. I enjoyed the 2D version better. Again top Star Wars movie and good lead to A New Hope. 5 stars for movie, 3 stars for 3D, 4 overall. I would give 5 stars for 2D only package.

I just watched Final Fantasy XV and loved it. I liked The Spirts Within and wanted to know more about the story line. I picked this up thinking I could just watch it and follow along like I did in Spirts and Kings but that is not the case. I will need to do some research to better understand the focus of this movie. Mother.
The digital copy is an absolute waste. It is not the extended edition! Really why doesn't the digital version match the purchased movie? Also the digital version is only in Japanese with English subtitles.
I didnt find the CGI graphics to be as nice as Spirts or Kings and lost interest halfway through. I am hoping I can catch up on the story line to better understand and give this another viewing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received this movie and BEST BUY tag lists it as a Brave RPKG! Physically the movies look fine and the Disney movie code works fine. I will update if there are any issues with the movies but I will not be able to watch every disc. I have wanted the 3D version and this was the best price for it. Even through the Disney club it is one of the more expensive movies so I always had to pay full price as the most expensive movie. I will definitely watch the 3D and Blu Ray though.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just an FYI the 3D disc also has the 2D version available. The movie is enjoyable. The picture quality 3D and 2D is crisp clean with excellent sound quality as well. I was presently surprised to find the 3D disc had a 2D option when I loaded it and thought this was important to mention. I would recommend this title.

3D Not Extended Version - Come On, Why Buy The 3D

I bought this title on sale and had no idea the 3D version would be the Theatrical Version! Come on why would someone purchase a 3D Extended Uncut version with only the 2D Version being the Extended Uncut version?? I took a star away for this alone. Marketing a 3D title as extended and uncut and only providing the 2D version is such is deceptive. The 3D content was ok. The movie was not as good as many of the other X-Men titles but I enjoyed it. I paid the same amount for this 3D version as the 2D only extended version so it was a wash in cost but I didn't realize the 3D version was Theatrical version until I finished watching it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Design
What's not so great: Lack of needed features and cost
Purchased this unit for our 40" Samsung. This was the first time I had seen such a sound bar and didn't realize there were many under TV units on the market when I purchased the Solo. I have tried several sound bars which sounded ok but always got in the way of the TV and this design was perfect. I expected the usual BOSE sound quality and features but was disappointed to find the Solo lacking in both. First the unit looks nice and has a clean design. It is a bit smaller than other under TV units but was the perfect size for our 40” Samsung LED with a LapWorks Big Screen TV Swivel being used due to the Samsung not having a swivel base. Be aware of the small size and weight capacity of the Solo when making a decision to purchase. We had the Bose on the swivel with the TV on the Bose it fit perfectly. See attached pictures.
The Solo only has a LED indicator on the front of the unit to show it is on and blinks or changes color for volume changes. There are NO controls on the Solo unit! Do not lose that remote. The unit will not come on automatically when it detects a signal! It will shut down automatically after 30 minutes of no signal. Adding the volume and power controls to another remote is a challenge. It can be done but you will need the code. For us using a FIOS Remote with only one additional input we would have lost control over the Samsung TV to add the Solo to it. If you have more input options on your remote this is not an issue.
The unit does not have a volume level indicator. The sound was ok. It was better than the Samsung built in speakers but it was not what I was expecting from a Bose product. Many older reviews complain about the Bass being too much. There is a quick remote accessible control to reduce the Bass produced. The Solo does not have a Sub-Woofer and the Bass is the result of the internal design and the drivers used. The Solo does not have sound adjustments available. If you set your TV to external speaker you will most likely lose any sound adjustments made in the TV menu and have no option to make any adjustments with the Solo.
As mentioned in the beginning I was not aware of other options in this design and after some research I found many other units out there with the right options, better sound and lower price. For us the lack of a volume indicator, inability to make sound adjustments, no auto on, no on unit controls, inability to easily add Solo to existing remotes to control unit, ok sound but not up to expected Bose quality make this unit a return for us. I did contact Bose directly to discuss the issues above in the hope they may have a newer unit coming out but the rep didn’t know of anything and stated the Solo has only been out for a year.
The design is perfect and we decided to getting a ZVOX 555 which has all the options the Solo is missing, better sound and is actually the same cost as the Solo while it is on sale.

How many gb wireless would 10 hours typical hulu shows use and can this tv access Amazon wireless video
1) I'm debating whether I can go on 10gb wireless monthly subscription if I use the wi-fi features for Netflix and hulu on this tv

It does access Amazon with the Smart Hub update. How much you use will depend on the shows and quality of the video you select. If you choose SD you will use less bandwidth and use less of the our monthly wireless allotment.
You should be able to check the total size of a program when you stream it and calculate how much of the 10GB you will use.
