charged it 5 times on 3 different chargers (2 of them from Amazon), turned WIFI off and all settings on lowest power use... Never got more than 3 days from a full charge. Not exactly weeks as advertised... It was returned.

Of the MCU, I was probably least impressed by this one, but that's like saying, "It's only Ice Cream..." It still is worth having a copy to rewatch several times...

We didn't see much of a difference with it, but we have a good wifi router, and cat 6 going to half of the speakers. I imagine that if we didn't have such a foot print it would have been a more noticeable improvement.

The good news is that they hold up the speakers fairly well. On the other hand they are cheap and a lot of the design is to look well thought out while not really bothering. The best example is the Lock nut that does not come anywhere near the speaker. 2 months in and my speakers still don't sag, but I do check them every so often.

I am using these with a Creative z series sound card. When I can get them to work, they are comfortable and sound great, but I usually have to fiddle with all my settings for 20 minutes, and I cannot always get them to work, or the sound stays on my primary speakers and I can't game. It's probably my system, but it is frustrating when I cannot use them.

I have 1 connect and 3 Connect Amps all on a shelf behind my TV in the basement. They are all plugged into the Wireless Router. Does having more than one Sonos Connect/Connect AMP connected via wire cause any issues or should only one be connected?

can i use the battery backup with a hdtv?
There is no reason why you couldn't. You would get another layer of protection from power surges and flickers.
On the other hand, if your power goes out, will you be a lot happier if you can get 15 minutes further before you lose your TV (real time depends on how many components--and power draw for each one-- that are connected to the battery back up, as well as how healthy the battery is)?
