I bought this product to not disturb others while I watch TV. I'm deaf and have to have the volume loud to hear it. This is not good at 4am, since I live in apartment. It's true that there is static and the bass is limited. But, Over all it is a good product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sound really travels in my house. If I use these on one TV in an open loft, will I still hear other TV in the space just below? Almost the same room.

The headphone have stopped working for both left and right; only receive in the left ear?

Yes, I believe it is the TV channel, not the product. I changed channels and it was fine.
