Somebody at the store actually tried to talk me out of buying this TV. I had actually had the exact same model right before this one, but it accidentally broke when a dog toy hit it... Anyways, for the money it really is a fine TV. Picture looks good after you make some adjustments to the default settings. My only real complaint is that it doesn't swivel on its base, and that only matters because I have it set up in a weird place. Overall I'd say it's worth getting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this TV come with a swivel stand?

No, it does not. It's probably the only thing I don't like about this TV.
