Not much else to say. If you like sword fights then this is for you. It's a well made movie and has Fassbender before Prometheus put him on everyone's radar. Olga Kurylenko compliments the cast and is oddly good at the role. Fits perfectly too!
It's a cool movie to watch with friends if action is what you're after, but don't expect anything amazing or worth coming back to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quite frankly I tire of Melissa McCarthy constantly playing same thing. It reminds of Jason Statham, who always find himself in same roles (unlike his early career) and movies usually only stand out if supporting cast is good (Franco in Homefront, eg).
Bullock is sort of back into the whole "Ms. Congeniality" mind set which works perfectly for this movie. There is few laughs to be had and movie as a whole is well done.
It's not a bad movie, it's just we've seen many like this before and it really is nothing new. Good hand out movie I guess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I will keep it short.
Movie is definitely for adult audiences only and that surprised the hel out of both me and my wife. For me it was a pleasant surprise, for my wife.. Not so much.
Plot is nothing amazing, but Gosling knows his stuff and plays really good. That combined with amazing soundtrack make this movie stand out in my library and I will be coming back to it many times over in the future.
If you like serious movies with a lot of vicious fight scenes as well as amazing ambient music to support that, this is a movie for you=)

But it's not all bad. I knew (as anyone most likely) going in that they were making different kind of album and it shows all the way through. Sure they have some heavier parts, but in grand scheme of things it feels like they calmed down a little and lowered their voices.
Instead of being heard for being loud and reckless, they are more deliberate on this album. Pace slows down to near stop at times, but picks up shortly after, to ensure we keep on moving and don't get lulled by false sense of safety.
Whole album is a tribute to dead band member and as such it is a perfect memento and send off. I couldn't have asked for better one myself.
I do love the old Slipknot and will foverer. New one not so much, but I get it and can appreciate they have all grown up. It might not strike a chord with everyone, so I recommend going on Itunes and listening to samples first.

With the new laws in place (for a long time, I know - I am late adapter), I decided to go ahead and buy my wife this headset. She spends half of her time driving, on the phone, so it was a no brainer.
As such, she tells me that headset is very comfy around the ear and sometimes she forgets it's there. It's super small and light (surprise as it comes in quite a big box!) and clarity of sound is amazing.
The only gripe she had was headset doesn't recognize what she is trying to say sometimes (you can say "answer" to answer the phone, which means she can basically keep phone in her purse) and it doesn't always work for some reason.
Bottom line, very good quality and highly recommended!

After seeing couple of trailers, I have to say I was expecting more. I loved First Class and still think it's better of the two. This one suffers a bit of identity crisis, juggling funny moments with serious ones and you are left wondering what was the final aim? Should we laugh, cry or be super serious? A little bit of all?
Still final and complete movie is as entertaining as they get and has a bit slower pace than I am used to in Marvel movies, which is nice. It's still galaxies away from what DC is putting in theaters, but maybe switch towards more mature audience with some of their series is exactly what Marvel needs...

I am simply rating the quality of the set, not the movies themselves since we all know how those downgraded over the year.
Every single gory details comes screaming at you in HD. I gotta say, it takes a lot for me to look away, but some of these scenes, having seen them before, I barely dared to watch. Quality is amazing and everyone that is afraid because of all movies taking only 3 discs, may put their fears to rest.
It's the real deal, amazing collection and for a little over $20 you can't beat it.

I am not even kidding. I knew I would enjoy it being huge sci fi fan and all and there is always movie that tops them all (Elysium last year, Prometheus year before) and this here is it.
Cast is brilliant and seeing Paxton age so well is worth the price of admission. Movie itself has great special effect, aliens are well thought out if not straying too much from proven formula and plot actually makes sense.
Surprise to me was how funny this movie turned out to be. I have to give credit to carious vehicles in the movie as they took part in the funnies moments. You'll know what I mean when you watch the movie.
Highly recommend to both sci fan and comedy fans!

What's not so great: Seems like been there, done that movie...

What's great about it: Whole package I guess
What's not so great: Most of the movie..
Buying this movie on sale, I didn't know what to expect, so didn't really come into it hoping for amazing experience or a total disaster. What we get though, is something in between.
Movie isn't so bad it's unwatchable, but it's hard to recommend either. Once you get started you will definitely finish as some of the ideas are cool, and for the most part this is the same story we all know and love, just acting isn't the best out there.
I wouldn't recommend this movie overall, unless you already have it or watch it for free. It's not a total waste of time, but definitely not something you will tell your friends about either..

Hard to push on carpet

The vacuum is very hard to push on carpet. I have area rugs in the living room and dining room ...no problem on floors. Setting is on 2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Did you try changing it to 3/4? Vacuum needs to be adjusted on some carpets/rugs. You won't notice much difference in suction, but it will be a lot easier to handle. Beware too, as I almost destroyed one of the smaller rugs by using setting 2 and tearing corner apart. Never again! Once you know which setting to use for what it will be a breeze=)
