I was very surprised at the length when I opened the package. Originally my wife was just wanting a new cord close to the Apple cord they provide in the original packaging of the phone. However this one is very close to that and the length is very convenient for charging if port is far away.

Why does there have to be a least 10 meters of wire between surge protector And electrical panel ?

I'm not entirely sure about that...the cord that connects to the panel from the surge protector isn't short so it could be to avoid bunching up the cord. I don't think mine is 10 meters from the panel and it is working fine so far, I have it underneath the desk that my desktop computer is at.

We used it with the latest version of Windows and it worked just fine, so I'm sure it would work well with Windows XP. It also works with both desktop computers and laptops, which is convenient. If you do buy it I would recommend getting a case for it, it is thin and may be susceptible to damage if not handled with care.

KitchenAid - Ultra Power Tilt-Head Stand Mixer - Imperial Gray

This stand mixer features a 4-1/2-quart stainless-steel mixing bowl and flat beater, dough hook and wire whip attachments that are ideal for dough, mixes and batters.

In the photo, the "imperial gray" looks like a dark gray. I received a mixer in that color and it's much closer to a matte silver.

The color for this cover is a very dark gray, even though the official title is "imperial gray". It looks really great on our black Kitchen Aid mixer, not sure about any other colors however. Hope this clarification of the description helps.

What is the exacr thickness in mils? It is not mentioned in the specs. I would like to use this screen protector, but I also often use my olloclip lens, sounless it is very very thin, it won't allow the lens to slip on.

I am not quite sure how thick the screen is, but it is thin enough to be very flimsy before installation. The product comes with a application solution that works very well. In my opinion it was one of the easiest protectors to install that I've ever done. I highly recommend this product, it is well worth the price.
