The price was awesome! I purchased the camera to record my daugher's soccer games. i didn't think I needed anything fancy....... The camcorder worked great. It was small and easy to use. We sat down to watch the video on the TV and the picture was horrible! It was hard to make out who the players were. I will be returning this camcorder for a full HD 1080p one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

multiple questions in one
I just purchased this camcorder and so far I'm enjoying it. I have 3 questions.
1) every time i record and pause the video I creates a new file ( so you have lots of files of the same event) , is there any way I can put all the videos in one file?
2) I would love to purchase a strap to hang the camcorder in my neck, but I noticed there is no hook to adapt one, has any one got creative and been able to attach one?
3) Does this camcorder have the inserts to set it on a leg stands when recording a game for example? If so would any stand work?

#1 - If you are recording, lets say, a game and you want to pause while the ball goes out of bounds and begin recording again when the ball is back in play....this is what you do. press record to begin, press pause to pause, then press pause again to pick up where you left off. If you press record while on pause it will stop the recording and will require the start of a new file.
#3 - This camcorder does have the insert on the bottom to screw onto a tripod. Any tripod should work.

Can you record without a memory card?
Can you record without a memory card? If so, how much? I only need to keep 2-3GB on it at a time. Our last camera, a Flip, didn't use a memory card and you just plugged it to the flash drive. It was great.
This camcorder does not have internal memory. A memory card is required for recording.
