This is my 5th Samsung TV and they're getting better each year. I have no complaints with this model. The picture is beautiful and so real looking.

I bought this because it is one of the few that has a CD/DVD drive. It is a little heavy so there is a trade off. 2 gigs of dedicated ram for the video card gives you a very good visuals for just about anything. I had to turn off the auto adjust but I am very happy with the laptop so far. I am really enjoying the touch screen and now I don't dislike Windows 8 anymore! Windows 8 was clearly developed for a touch screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: It was up and running in 10 minutes
What's not so great: interface is weak
Very easy to use. I read that some had problems with Netflix but I haven't had any so far. The picture is great, even better than my Smart TV , PS3 & PS4. The remote is cheap but I have no issues using my Harmony remote. So far I'm very glad I bought this product.

What's great about it: Easy to set up and great Picture
What's not so great: voice command & smart remote doesn't work with the apps
This is my fourth Samsung and I have had great success with them all. I got this one because I wanted to go bigger. If the 75" wasn"t twice the price of this one I would have gone with that one. It would be hard to find another tv that beats the picture quality of this Samsung.

Do I need a sound bar or is the sound great on its own?
Just doing some research...it seems from what I read, for example, with the Vizio E70-C3, the sound is pretty poor and that if you do get that TV, you really need to invest in a sound bar. Well, if that's the case, perhaps I will take that $200-$400 and invest it towards a TV that will sound great even if I never decide to invest in a sound bar. Thank you!
The sound is OK but great with a receiver and speakers.

Asus Q551LN-BBI706 ssd upgrade
I have read that this laptop will only accept Samsung SSDs. Is this true?
I didn't make any changes but I have read that others have used other brands of SSDr with no problem.

Regarding Ethernet cables
I want to connect my Samsung TV and Blu ray player to a router via Ethernet. What Ethernet cable do you recommend. I have a Samsung series 8000 TV.
Any Cat 5 or Cat 6 will work. I have 2 SAMSUNG SMART TV'S and one has cat5 and other cat6 & I see no difference.
