Got this for my wife. We see no need to spend ridiculous money on a tiny iPad when this one does everything needed for less than 150 bucks, an almost 10" screen, and outperforms her aging tablet, so it does what it was intended to do.

I was dismayed at the total lack of front panel displays on all modern-day disk players until you spend a LOT of money, but settled on this one as a no-frills inexpensive player, and it works and looks great....no issues. No WiFi, only CAT-5 plugin, but I have streaming on so many other devices, I didn't need it, and was happy to save money on one without it (less than 90 bucks).

No doubt about it, one of my top 2 favorite war movies of all time, right next to Bridge On The River Kwai. Got rid of the DVD years ago with the intent to replace it with BluRay, and finally did, making great even better. If I had seen/found it on 4K, would have still been a no-brainer. No fan of film, war movies or otherwise, should leave this out of their collection.

One of the good war movies of the past with a star-studded cast, now finally on BluRay. Gene Hackman's performance is probably the most stilted of his career, but doesn't detract from still being a sweeping epic of WWII.

I was auditioning several soundbars at the time, and wasn't that thrilled with any of them. Luckily, the sales consultant steered me to this one, which was on a deep discount (closeout??). I had thought about getting a surround sound bar this time around, but the overall sound quality of this one, and finally a soundbar with a decent sub without breaking the bank, and I was hooked. Had it in the house for a couple weeks now, and totally satisfied with it. Grab one on sale if you get a chance.

To get a few more channels, I had to have the wife move it around a bit by the window while I told her "stop" or "a little more to the left", but to get a lot of free over-the-air channels without having to pay for cable is HUGE, which makes this the bargain of the year.

TV is beautiful, works well in most respects, but the WiFi on it is the worst of any device I own, or have ever owned. I have to reconnect to WiFi pretty much every single day, while all other devices in the house just keep on chugging. I'm hoping to have time to call LG and discuss, maybe it's just mine, but it's worth mentioning.

Does the time auto-set and adjust for Daylight Saving Time?
There is no network connection (cellular or otherwise) to set time automatically, and the button for DST merely changes the time by one hour either way for each push, which is actually better than nothing, as it's a quick way to readjust time instead of scrolling through the display for 5 minutes trying to set it twice a year, so I like it even thought it's not "automatic".

What is the quality of the radio? Does this have an AC adapter and battery back up?
It does have an A/C adapter, and the battery backup is the small coincell type, not a 9V like I'm used to seeing, but does cover both. Quality of the radio is decent, considering it's just a single small speaker, but way better than my 20 year old GE clock radio, which still works, just got sick of seeing it, lol.

What is the quality of the radio?
Hi Bubbles123, the quality of the radio is "good".........for a clock radio. This will NOT replace your typical purpose-built Bluetooth speaker for listening to music on the patio, etc. It is an alarm clock, and you have to remember that's it's primary job. It has a very small, single speaker. It does well enough for what it is, and I really like mine, as it is smarter than my old clock radio, and the ambiance lighting is pretty nice, just don't expect "Hi-Fi" sound from any clock radio (I know, I know, "but what about the Bose WaveRadio" you say.......well, that is primarily a stereo system that's over 300 bucks, sooooo........).
