Great adapter for older electronic inputs

Now days, everything connects up by bluetooth or wirelessly. However, I have an old stereo with no input for a auxiliary line or for a headphone that would not require an adapter. This solved the problem by allowing me to use my phone's headphone jack to plug directly into RCA inputs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This surge protector is far less expensive than similar ones with USB protection. The two USB charging ports were perfect since I don't have to use the wall type plug in and take up two slots that can go to something else. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Use this adapter! It will plug into your headphone jack of your iPhone and into the RCA jacks of your stereo.

Can I use only one leg of the output cable either red or white?
You can, but if the audio you are playing is in stereo (which most everything is) you're only going to get sound from either the left or right channel depending on which color you plug in. It's not terribly bad, unless the music purposefully switches channels during the song for effect. Also, some songs have certain audio tracks recorded at a louder volume on one side, such as certain back up vocals or instruments. They do make an adapter that will merge the red and white into a single black RCA jack. This is probably what you are looking for.
