Would this headset work with Skype?
I don't recommend this brand for skype. Try a turtle beach headset it will last you longer and its is more durable

Maximum volume?
What's the maximum volume? I use hearing aids, but some speakers/headsets are still too quiet for me to hear.
There isn't a volume number. But there are two different cplume modes. There is game mode and chat mode. Game mode is louder than chat mode but they are both very clear in sound.

will these work with a Ipad 2?
I'm not quiet sure because for the headset to work you have to use the audio jack and the USB port together. Because the audio jack is for the microphone and the sun plug is for the hearing

I visit my mother who does not have Internet and need to extend the signal from my brothers house next door which is maybe 100 yards to 150 yards is there an extender to do that and if so would I put it in his home or my mothers?
Put it your moms house but make sure your brother is ok with you extending his internet to her house

Does this device also increase the internet speed?
We have a Netgear router hooked into our PC, but have slow internet service through our provider. We now have a Smart TV upstairs away from the router, and wonder if we will need this device to increase signal and also help with speed? We also use IPads, phones and laptops. And would I place the extender upstairs near the TV?
I recommend using this device to help improve the signal

WiFi extender
My router is on the roof of a shop about 100 metres from our boat. On my nexus7 tablet I get about 1mps and on the laptop using a rocket antenna about 5mps. Can you tell me if you make a range extender we could use on the boat at this range that would boost the signal and give us more MPs to watch YouTube and videos on the net. We are in France and are using SFR as our internet provider. Cheers Pete
This device will help but keep it in an indoors area on the boat away from the water and wind

Would connection through a floor be an issue?
My computer in my room typically has poor connection to the router, and occasionally, the connection drops. I was thinking about getting a WiFi booster for my room, which has a floor in between it and the router. First of all, would this solve the problem? Also, would the floor interfere with the connection to the booster?
It will solve the problem and no the floor won't interfere just make sure to plug the device in your room
