As far as I know this is the most expensive and most technologically advanced wireless radar detector for retail purchase. That being said if you must have a wireless portable radar detector then this is the best one to get at the retail level. I am not satisfied with its detection abilities however and feel that if you really want to get good radar detection a wired unit is the only option for purchase at the retail level.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm not sure about how well the impurities in tapwater are filtered by this device. The water tastes the same as it does out of the tap after use. When compared with a Britta filter that I use for my daily drinking water the product does not seem to be doing anything at all. The idea of having a portable water filtration system is excellent but I'm not convinced of the product's efficiency.

Is VG2 necessary?

I have never been cited or in a position where the are too recognition has mattered. It usually will go off intermittently for no reason and I have to put the unit on mute.
