These are pretty cool phones. We have them scattered throughout the house (kids rooms, living room, garage). The coolest thing is that you don't have to pick it up to see who is calling; the phone announces what is on the caller ID. I thought that was pretty cool. Not much to review aside from that...a phone is pretty much a phone, isn't it?
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: On screen setup, multiple HDMI inputs, Internet Radio options
What's not so great: Size
This replaced my nearly 10 year old 525. This is a huge upgrade, since my old one had no online capabilities and limited HDMI inputs. The setup is simple. As long as you can connect your television to it, the rest of the directions appear on screen. The only negative about this unit is the gigantic size. Your receiver should never rival your television for weight. And if you have small shelves for your tv stand, you may as well forget it...this thing is large! It does, however, deliver quality Onkyo sound with some cool internet features.
This product has... Plenty of power for all my needs, Interfaces well with TV, Easy to use controls

Intercom

States it has intercom - but after receiving phones - it does not!
Yes, it does. On the right hand side of each handset is a button that says "Push To Talk". When you push the button once it asks you which handset you want to connect to. If you hold it down it intercoms all other handsets.

Will I be able to call another extension from the extension I am on

Yes. There is a "Push to Talk" button on the right hand side. When you push it, it asks (on screen) which handset you want to connect to. You can also name the handsets, (living room, bedroom, Billy, Joe..etc) and that may show up (I haven't tried that yet).
