We chose this phone case because it was one of the few cases that actually looked good on the phone. The case covered a good portion of the phone but it does not protect the front screen (we already knew this when buying it, was not a factor in the purchase). We did not go with a otterbox due to the bulk of the case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the first apple product for my wife. She has always been curious about why so many people like apple products. In general, she likes the phone, but is not blown away by it. There are other phones with better features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If I order it online do I still get the warranty? How long does it last? And also, what exactly are the warranty rules/exceptions?

The Lifeproof warranty is supplied by Lifeproof, not Best Buy. In the event of the case breaking or becoming faulty, you just need to contact Lifeproof. If you go to their website, you will be able to print out a template. Fill out the information and take the requested picture of the product. They are very quick to send you replacement parts or entire cases. So yes, you can buy it online and still have the warranty. Its always recommended to keep your receipts etc. For any other details, contact Lifeprood customer service and they can explain the whole process to you.
