It was a great price, wonderful quality. This is easily the best microwave we have owned. We can bake, roast, microwave anything we want. We can now get rid of our toaster oven, since the microwave now does it all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can this be used on the countertop?

I would assume that you could use it on the countertop, but it is NOT going to look very nice. The top of this microwave is designed to be against a cabinet. There is no flat surface that looks like the rest of the microwave.

what is the requirements for the electrical connection
There is nothing special for an electrical connection. You can plug this microwave into a regular outlet. We happen to have an outlet in our cabinet above the stove, so we just plug into that. No Problems.

What are the dimensions and installation requirements?

I am looking to see if it will work in our space. We are replacing a Frigidaire FMV156DCC.
The Samsung microwave is 30" wide, so it is the standard width. It should be the same width as your conventional stove.
