I've had mine for a month and I love it. I've had at Nike Fuelband (it broke and stopped syncing) and a FitBit (no read out on the band itself) and I like this much better than either of them. It's light and comfortable, a charge lasts a long time, and it's syncing nicely with MyFitnessPal and the Health app on my iPhone. The distance and steps recorded are really accurate --- they line up very closely with what my treadmill records when I run inside. It's a little challenging to reads texts and emails on it --- but that's not why I bought it. This product has definitely exceeded my expectations.

what sleep details does the Garmin Vivosmart track?

light, deep, REM sleep tracked?
It just tracks movement --- so it's hard to tell. If you can correlate the amount of movement with a phase of sleep, it might be helpful. All that I can glen from it is whether or not I'm tossing and turning a lot.
