There is a lot packed into this Chromebook. Many features coming together to create an all around user friendly experience that I found to be both useful and productive. It actually lives up to its description, which is rare. Two Usb-C ports, two USB 3.1 ports, headphone jack and even a micro-sd card reader. All the necessary inputs are here.
Booting speed and processing speed are fast enough for my needs. No noticeable lag or extended loading times in all the applications I ran. No issues here.
Screen is 1366x768, but at this size, Netflix and Youtube look great. The speakers may lack depth, but they are loud and clean enough for media viewing without the need for headphones. My video calls also look great and were a breeze to set-up with no connection issues. The camera has a wide angle and is on par with other models in this class. Definitely good enough for any video calling needs.
The battery has been great so far. I’ve had mixed usage for several hours on end and have only needed to charge out of habit vs. necessity.
Being that this is technically part of the Android/Google universe, it was a nice bonus that my Note 20 Ultra synced up automatically via my Google account. I have several Windows machines that attempt to do this, but keeping a steady connection can be challenging. So far, I’ve not had any issues with keeping the link intact. Helps productivity for sure.
For the gamers, many of my Android games play just fine. And Stadia runs great! This is one of the main reasons I wanted this unit, and it doesn’t disappoint.
The size is perfect for portability and easily fits into any workbag with the slim form factor. The body feels a bit fragile, but after several bump and go moments, it has proven to be fairly sturdy. I feel confident tossing in the bag and heading out without a second thought.
The only downside I have is the “introduction” videos on what to download/use show some features that aren’t compatible with this model. I know these are typically stock vids for all Chromebooks, but that should be curated a bit more carefully. There are also a handful of PLAY apps that aren’t compatible with this model. That’s a bit disappointing being this is supposedly up-to-date, but not enough to mark it down a star.
I am enamored by this little companion, and for under $250, I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enter into the Chromebook arena.

This speaker is the perfect balance of great sound, portability and functionality. From my individual clients to my classes, to the beach, it has the power and versatility to accommodate all. One of the best features is the carry handle. Small thing, but being I’m used to carrying around odd shaped P.A. speakers, this is a small but appreciated feature.
The sound is nothing short of amazing, especially considering the size and weight of the speaker. No clipping and the bass clearly thumps through the side walls. Another great feature is choice of orientation. Whether it was horizontal or vertical, the sound remained clean and clear. I do use the mic port for my classes, and the sound reproduction is good enough to make this a class staple.
I have several other Sony “party type” speakers, so syncing this speaker with the sound app and creating a party chain just adds even more depth to any party set-up I have rolling.
Construction feels pretty solid and the IP ratings give some comfort when lugging around from gym to beach.
I have no complaints. Great speaker and would definitely recommend!

I'm using this with a Scarlett 18i6 interface. Plugged in, turned on Phantom Power and away we go. Great clarity. Clean highs and lows with just the right amount of "rumble." Keeps up with my Blue Reactor which was 3x the cost. The reason for the comparison is the size. The Reactor is huge and quite heavy. The Spark is slender and relatively light to pack such great sound. Being that I'm using this more for music production, the physical pass filter on the mic body isn't of much use, but when I tested it, it did cut out ambient noise but it also cut the audio signal in half. Useful if your set-up is compact and knocks can't be avoided.
The shock mount is very sturdy. Feels like metal in relation to the myriad of plastic mounts I have used over the years. Great addition.
That's kind of it. Very clean sound with good voice reproduction that rivals higher priced mics. Worth the price of admission.

I wasn’t sure if this actually would do better than my standard vac at cleaning the surfaces in my home. But, I used it to clean the top of a cloth ottoman that sits near a window and was surprised at home much dirt/dust came off of a few passes. Now, I literally want to take this over all of my furniture to see what else is hiding.
Device is solid. Feels well made and sturdy and maneuverability is great. There was no stalling of drag across the surfaces I tested. All pieces are easy to clean and empty and the Hepa filter is easy to replace once needed.
Fair warning, it is fairly loud, but with all that’s going on at once, that’s to be expected.
This model has the UV and the heated sanitizing, a very welcome feature for killing extra things unseen. The heater warms up with seconds. Hit the on switch, wait 10-20 seconds, and off you go!
Our home gets fairly dusty, and we usually only grab the dust we can visually spot, this will fill in the cleaning gaps of the dust/mites we can’t. Another great tool towards a cleaner home.

This replaced an 8+ year old Motorola Surfboard DOCSIS modem and a Tri-band router that were beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Amazingly, this replaces them both, and does so very well.
Set-up was easy with no hiccups, and I was up and running in about 15 minutes. The app is needed, but easy to use and install with all features at your fingertips.
The four ports onboard each amply provide more than enough bandwidth to handle all of the media tasks I throw at it. This wasn’t much of a surprise, but the wireless capabilities are what gets the rating.
Without the need of a mesh system, I am getting more than adequate speed across my entire home. And being that it has all the current benchmark bells and whistles, there should be no issues on adapting to future technologies. Easy and intuitive. Space saving. Power saving. Not sure why this 2-1 type system hasn’t been out sooner, but this does the trick.

I needed a vacuum to fill the void between my full size and handheld. This unit definitely fits the bill. Good suction, sleek and compact and very light. If using for lighter jobs, it’s possible this could be your new main vacuum.
The first impressive feature is the sleek design. It comes with a stand/base plate that fits neatly against a wall for charging. Now, when upright, it does become a bit top heavy, but when clicked on the base, there is no worry of tipping over. Should the upright height be an eyesore, you can separate, and still charge on the same base with the lower height profile. This configuration also allows for charging extra batteries. Great design.
If it isn’t clear by the description, this vac can convert to a stand-alone hand vac, and upright, and an extension hybrid for hard-to-reach places.
The battery charges fairly quickly and gives a decent amount of run time. I ran for a bout 30 minutes, and still had some juice left before recharging. My hand vac has about half that time, so my hand vac is now a backup in case I forget to charge.
The dust cup is where performance can be tricky. The cup isn’t large, and can fill rather quickly. If it fills and you continue usage, you will notice a dramatic loss of suction. At first, I thought the unit just needed to be charged, but once I realized it was a filled cup, performance came right back. I’m not sure why the cup release isn’t used more often in other vacs, but the little-to-no-touch cup release is great. Hover over the trash, hit the switch, and empty. This makes removing dirt much less of a hassle. Being the cup is small, I still need to break out the bigger vac for deeper cleaning jobs, but for general maintenance, I can keep the big vac in the closet.
The last feature is the most important, the suction power. Expectations met. This has been able to grab everything I’ve thrown at it. Smaller particles like spice spills, to larger debris and crumbs, nor problem. Just remember to frequently empty the cup, especially if notice power performance issues.
This is a great unit, and an easy recommendation for an everyday vac with enough power to be a main while maintaining a slim profile.

This one does it all! I have several appliances in the Ninja family, and this blender replaces a Ninja Professional Kitchen Series. The Professional had several bowls, cups and attachments for several different uses. The Power Blender does it all with just one pitcher. While I do miss the to go blend cups, the trade off for space in my kitchen is definitely worth it.
So far, it has crushed everything I have thrown at it. Very powerful. Ice, nuts, smoothies, all with perfect consistency with no slow down. The pitcher feels sturdier than my last model, and is much easier to clean. Not sure if it is because it’s new or if there is a newer material, but everything just rinses right out with no residue. It can be a nuisance to put the pitcher in the dishwasher after every use, so this has been a great unexpected perk.
This is also the first blender to have the Auto IQ feature. Very useful. I have used it a few times to test the adaptability. Surprisingly it actually adjusts to the load in the pitcher and automatically uses just the right speed and intervals to create the best consistency. All of my smoothie tests came out perfect. The setting I was most skeptical of was the chopping. But, just the same, somehow it adapted to the load and provided the perfect chop, and running it twice gave a finer consistency without turning it to mush. This has been/is great for onions! I made a fresh Pico de Gallo and barely needed to use my knife.
My last Ninja lacked the basic Manual mode and opted for the Pulse button. This has both and I’m happy they included it. This really is a great all-in-one. No disappointment.

Before using this microphone, my main recording setup involved a Blue Reactor, an AT2020 and a Rode NT1-A that I used sparingly for different applications. My bread and butter interface is a Scarlett Red 18i6 and my preferred audio DAW of choice is Magix Samplitude Pro X5. I’ll use these for reference as I compare this microphone.
The first note when unboxing is the feel. Very sleek and sturdy. Well put together. My Reactor is a powerhouse, but I feel like any mishandling and pieces are coming off. For the inputs, we have micro USB, XLR and a dedicated monitor jack for 3.5mm headphones. On the top is a touch panel that controls the mic level and monitor volume independently of the app, but still syncs onscreen. Just a note, there are two lengthy cables for either standard USB or USB-C.
So, as instructed, the first thing is to download the app. Easy install and instantly pops up waiting for mic input. My first test was with USB. I connected the mic, Windows 10 instantly recognized it and the app immediately picked it up and it was hot. I connected directly to mic monitor and started playing with the settings. I set everything to natural and flat. The first thing to note was the warmth. No tinny highs and muddled lows, just mellow smooth response. I then started playing with the EQ, the Limiter, the Compressor and mix and matching different settings. This produced some great results. Where normally you have to tinker with your plug-ins and interface to achieve these results, they worked fairly well from with the click of the interface. You can hear the distinct differences and I will be able to pick which setting for what application. Before I put this in the DAW, I wanted to test the Auto Level feature. While this would be great for podcasting and audiobooks, having manual control over mic level is a preference for other creative endeavors. That’s not to say it doesn’t work, it works well! You may just have to fine tune some things post recording. What was most impressive was lack of bleeding in from other audio sources. My recording space is not treated, so I rely heavily on timing, mini booths and directional sound to get the best I can. In comparison to my other mics, even with Inputs jacked up, the bleed here, especially with the auto leveling is amazing. For voice over work with ongoing reads, this is paramount if you can’t get to a booth.
Now, with those ‘plosives…P’s didn’t pop, highs stayed manageable and clipping was rare, even without a pop filter or turning on the limiter. Of course that attributes to one’s own vocal qualities, but for me, I usually need a pop filter on the Blue and the AT2020 for general recording, or one or two will undoubtedly slip through.
Now, once inside the DAW, it operated like any other mic. The app interface still allowed on-the-fly modifications while in sessions and I could control additional modifications in the DAW without issue. This is a given, but just confirming if there was any doubt.
Next up, good ole XLR. Once connected to the Scarlett, I turned on the needed Phantom Power and was met with the same warmth the USB provided. Though the app is no longer useable once connected to the XLR, the mic still rivals all other mics in my arsenal. Great, natural warm vocals. I have used several Shure mics in my years, so this is no surprise.
This mics size compared to my Reactor, its minimal setup compared to my AT2020 and Rode, I may just leave this one in the stand as I do feel with the custom settings, I can match all of the other mics Maybe not perfectly, but enough to give me what I need. Whether streaming, podcasting or laying some vocals, this is definitely a favored recommendation.

The RR-60 is a great little all-in-one that has become a integral part of my office. Small enough to sit on my desk and powerful enough that I don’t need to get up and head over to the full-size scanner across the room. In comparison the larger scanners, it’s very fast with no doors to lift/open. Just place a document in the slot, and off you go.
I have used this for receipts, full sized documents and even cards. Great reproduction at great speeds. For the receipts, I keep auto feed on so I can keep the scanner on the ready for easy filing. Scan and toss. Been waiting years for a device this seamless.
The software that comes with the unit is a great counterpart. From Epson, you get the Scansmart suite which basically has everything you need to scan, refine, organize, stitch and file your documents within minutes. The second in Nuance Power PDF. I’m am still discovering all this can do, but so far, it is a great alternative to Acrobat without any additional cost. Sort, edit, modify, create searchable, etc. The software alone makes this product top notch.
Here’s a few cons. Firstly, the scanner cannot accept batches. I have only found it to be single use. For the size, this is not a surprise, just confirming what may be obvious. Second, for many of my full-size documents, even with perfect alignment, the scan may be slightly angles. Not to the point where information is missing, just as if the scan shifted while passing through the reader. I can easily fix it in the software, but I’d rather the scan be aligned the same way I inserted it. I’ll continue to play and haven’t ruled out the idea of user error. Third, I have checked the software over and over, and there is no option for “double sided” scanning. You will have to scan each side and pair together in software. Lastly, the initial set-up was a bit tedious. The scanner wouldn’t connect to the software. It would time out. The software would freeze. After a few restarts and some repeated plug and play, all those issues eventually dissipated, but noting they were there.
All and all, I really like the unit and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to find more ways to get organized.

I have been using this software for the past few years, and it continues to be my go-to to get things done quickly. Very intuitive, easy directions and a straightforward simple interface. I dread the thought of doing taxes each year, but at least this simplifies the process a bit. So far, I am ¾ the way through completion as of writing this, and it helps that I can leave and pick-up where I left off with no hassle. Definitely worth the investment each year.
