I bought this tv-dvd combo to put in my pickup camper because of its compact size and dual purpose and light weight. I`m retired and plan on being on the road all next summer!!

Does this TV have front-facing speakers?

I don't see this specified anywhere, including the user manual. Are the speakers for this TV in the front (behind that grate on the bottom), or are they on the back of the TV?
The speakers are on the bottom of the tv chassis and face down toward the base

Ear plugs

Is there an outlet to plug earplugs into so I can watch and hear without disturbing my husband's sleep?
yes, left side of tv is a port for earplugs between the RCA ports and hdmi port. When earplugs are used the tv speakers are off
