Like many other furniture items that come in a box, there are a lot of parts and a book of assembly instructions. But the parts are carefully labeled, and the assembly book had no serious errors in it. In addition, the company who makes this item has an online YouTube video for each of their pieces of furniture. Also, its important not to tighten the bolts until the instructions say to do so, so that all the parts are aligned by the semi-loose screws. i reviewed the video, took my time with assembly, and now have a great looking stand that looks to be around for a long time.

Big buttons, big screen, quality sound, simple operation. No wireless issues, no battery issues. Its a simple corded phone and handset that just works well. The answering machine has a big red flashing button on it when someone has left a message. What else could you ask for? Only flaw that I see is that visibility of the screen is greatly reduced at angles of say 45 degrees or more. On the wall, looking straight at the phone's screen, its great. Laying flat on a desktop with the screen facing up and away from you, the readability of the screen is significantly impaired. But overall, its a really good value in my view.

No. All shelves are fixed height.

What is the depth of each shelf? Are they all the same?
My center speaker is 14.5" deep! Would it fit on this shelf without an issue?
All shelves are the same size. Front edge is radiused. 18.5 inch at center, 16.5 inch at either edge. Height is 8.75 inches between shelves.

Can a person record their own greeting on answering system?
Yes. It prompts you when you first power up the phone, and you can go into the features setup area and change it as often as you like.

is the ringer volume adjustable?
I would like to be able to turn down the ringer volume or turn it off when necessary.
Yes. Its in a setup area of the phone, along with several other such choices.

Are your outgoing message and incoming messages saved if power goes out?
No, I don't see how. Its an AC powered device. If your power is off, so is its'.

Does this phone beep until you listen to the message?
No. It will blink (on and off) a large red button marked "message" until you retrieve the message.

Yes. A small sized wall wart comes with it.
