I just had to replace the filter for the first time about 3 weeks ago. At first, the water was very cloudy but that has gone away now. However, the water tastes like I'm swallowing chemicals! It did not taste like this before replacing the filter.

i just replaced the filter on mine 4 weeks ago & i didn't have any problems. Did you run about a gallon or 2 of water through through the system 1st & dispose of it? try running water out of it for about 3 minutes. This helps to flush it out.
