The apple cases seem to fit better than any other I have tried.
Why buy a super slim tablet then make it thick with a case?
My only complaint is the price. I think $80 is a bit high compared to other cases.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Super Fast and 6 Tuners. Remote works from everywhere in the house.
What's not so great: Expensive!
I replaced a 4 Tuner Tivo that replaced a 2 tuner Tivo.
The Roamio is by far the fastest unit I have owned so far.
I have 3 units in my home and the multi-room video sharing works wonderfully.
The built-in Stream works great with my iPad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Controls hardwired lights/fans.
What's not so great: Fairly large switch body, hard to install in small, full boxes.
The unit works great! It works exactly like the plug-in switches but is for hard-wired lights or fans.
Install is easy unless you have a shallow wall box with a lot of wires in it then it becomes a challange to get the unit flush into the box.
I have 2 of these now and see more in my future!
I would recommend this to a friend!

If I can stream live local news and other channels local this will be a buy for me, is this possible?
Yes you can.
The Tivo can stream to an Apple or Android device.

The new Roamio Plus and Pro will soon allow you to stream outside of your home as well.

What is the max load it will handle? Can it control a window air conditioner (120 V, 12 Amps)

It should. The plug-in switches are rated for 15amps.
The window unit will run at a much lower current draw but could go up to 12 amps on startup (which is when you turn it on with the switch).
