This is your basic flash drive, no bells and whistles. It does the job it is supposed to do at a ridiculously low price. Couldn't ask for more than that. Is it slower than USB3, yes. However, if speed is not critical you can't beat the price.

This is, by far, the most beautiful picture I have ever seen on a TV. It is 3D capable and the rendering of a 3D picture is superb. Further, even 2D pictures are, somehow, given depth. I have no idea how they do it but it is amazing.

Used it to burn an ISO to a bootable flash drive. Worked like a charm. Can't beat it.

How many GB`s will I need on my thumbnail drive to accommodate 8hrs of video footage?

There is no way to answer your question without more information. Are you recording low definition, medium definition, high-definition, 4K definition? Without knowing the definition you are using an answer is impossible. Keep in mind that a standard DVD that you purchased from the store is dual layer and has approximately 9 GB of storage. This will give you two hours of video. Hope this helps.
