I like the keyboard and touch pad all in one. It has the features I need with a lower cost compared to others. If you work in the dark the keyboard doesn't have a backlight. It may be louder then some other keyboards but it isn't bothersome to me. While typing the keys don't seem to stick which you may find in keyboards that are quiet. My suggestion would to test the keyboard to your specific needs and features that you want. I'm sure a best buy employee would be more then willing to let you test the keyboard. Bonus it comes with batteries. The wireless distance seems adequate to my needs. I have a desktop hooked up to my TV and can type in my bed or the farthest point from the computer which is about fifteen feet away. It's rated at a distance of twice that but haven't tried it that far.

The vent is aluminum which lasts longer then the normal vents that you can get elsewhere. If you need a dryer cord as well Best Buy offers both as a package deal so be sure to ask.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Is this item compatible with an Ipad
Can i use this item with an Ipad
Due to the fact this keyboard requires a USB port it may or may not sync with the iPad depending on if the key board sends the signal or the USB device sends it. My suggestion would be to visit the best buy near you and ask them which devices are compatible with your particular device. I would write down all the features your looking for and number them by importance then ask to test the different keyboards you prefer to your personal list. Some examples do the keys stick when typing, does it have a mouse with the keyboard, is it quiet when typing, and etc.

Is this keyboard quiet compared to others?
Looking for a whisper quiet keyboard at an affordable price. Open to suggestions. :)
To me personally it's fine. I would write down all the features you want and number them by what you prefer the most. Then go to a best buy store and ask to test different keyboards including this one. Keep in mind some keyboards that are whisper silent the keys may stick due to that feature because they have to compensate to keep that keyboard quiet. For the price and features I personally like it's fine but everybody is different.

Does keypad have BT plug like mouse or does computer have to have built in BT receivers
It comes with a USB adapter which creates a Bluetooth wireless signal. Just keep in mind where you plug in the USB and obstacles that may interfere with that signal as this would affect your distance of the keyboard from the USB device.

I want to use it with a laptop from a distance of 10 feet, will it work?
It's rated for a distance of thirty something feet. I've personally have tried it at a distance over ten feet and it works with no problems. You have to keep in mind where you plug in the USB and objects that may interfere with the signal.

I am currently using an HP Wireless Elite Keyboard and I can't get num lock to default to ON at Windows 10 logon screen.

The only thing it requires is a USB port.

Yes it doesn't require a Internet connection although it requires a USB port.

The space I have now, the dryer is 27 inches. How do I find out how wide the dryer is
The width is 29. the depth is 24.5 the height is 42.5 inches
