I have enjoyed this computer, however, it is not as fast as I had expected. Using it for photo editing but it is a little slower than my Mac.

Cannot get black ink to print. My previous ink cartridges provided good prints. This batch of ink cartridges have not performed well at all.

The ink volume in the cartridges is minimal. I am able to print only a very few number of pictures before having to replace a cartridge.

Why do the Best Buy specs state that this printer cannot print photos? (It says "no" under photos for most Epson printers?)

Yes, it does print photos. They are not great, but acceptable for amateur photographers.
